    We are currently looking to hire a VP, Senior Relationship Manager within The Private Trust Company. Fiduciary relationship expert to serve as a relationship manager supporting the business development and account onboarding process from end to end, ensuring seamless transitions, appropriate expectations and solutions for all stakeholders. Relationship management may extend to a limited book of our most sophisticated accounts and top tier independent advisors. Responsibilities: Support the Trust Consulting team with fiduciary expertise and relationship management Business Development Support Support introductory discussions with beneficiaries, advisors and co-trustees during the prospecting stage Ensure business development activities accurately represent PTC's fiduciary role and responsibilities Support warm handoff processes for business PTC must decline to preferred vendors and referral partners, connecting advisors to the right tools, products and solutions Foster strong partnerships with LPL advisors, balancing their interests with PTC's fiduciary obligations while serving as escalation point for challenging conversations Effectively manage an ambassador program for LPL advisors that are new to trust, introducing them to PTC's fiduciary obligations and how PTC works with LPL advisors and vice versa Contingency Management: Proactively identify and address contingencies early in the prospecting process Manage the process of document amendments and trustee changes within legal boundaries Provide fiduciary guidance to beneficiaries and advisors without crossing into unauthorized practice of law Coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary to resolve document and appointment issues Complex Relationship Management: May serve as primary relationship manager for a limited book of PTC's most complex accounts As needed, handle trusts with sophisticated structures, challenging beneficiary dynamics, or unique asset compositions with support from trust administrators and specialists Provide high-touch service to valuable and high-profile advisor relationships requiring exceptional attention Act as a bridge between technical trust administration and advisor and beneficiary facing communication Deliver a white glove relationship management experience Drive increased advisor engagement and satisfaction Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field; J.D. preferred Minimum of 10 years' experience in estate planning and wealth management, including combination of advisory, consulting and client service/relationship management Fiduciary and legal expertise in trust administration, including trust documents, court processes and fiduciary law and regulation Background in trust banking with knowledge of operational requirements and limitations Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and financial advisors Executive presence with the ability to interact with and influence key senior stakeholders Effectively analyze situations, and apply solutions to achieve resolution Flexible and adaptive Pay Range: $120,819-$201,365/year Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
