Responsibilities Mounting and dismounting tires on retail vehicles, medium trucks, and trailers. Including training and use of additional safety equipment for enhanced danger. Balancing tires to ensure proper weight distribution. Understanding additional balance mechanisms such as balance beads and balance rings. Identifying and repairing punctures or other damage to tires and/or tubes. Patching or plugging tires as necessary. Evaluating retail vehicles, medium trucks, and trailers, lifting using proper equipment in accordance with safety protocols. Rotating tires at regular intervals to promote even tread wear, including medium truck and trailer patterns. Perform oil changes and basic vehicle inspections Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
