PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Under the direction of Management, is responsible for overall operation of their location(s). Supervisors provide direction for the Runners, and Servers. They oversee all stand operations and implement all company policies during the event.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reports for scheduled events on time, in proper uniform, with a neat and clean personal appearance.
Must maintain a friendly, positive attitude and a professional demeanor at all times.
Analyzes and resolves all problems that have occurred, and foresees and is proactive regarding any possible issues.
Works with staff to control spoilage and waste and have product meet Board of Health regulations.
Ensures that all work stations and the back of stand and storerooms remain clean and sufficiently stocked. Orders replacement stock as necessary.
Efficiently and accurately completes required paperwork.
Replaces empty kegs with full ones.
Ensures staff keeps a quality appearance of the location at all times.
Enforces correct alcohol policies and procedures.
At closing, makes sure all servers are properly checked out, voids are verified, and staff is working diligently to close stand efficiently.
Must be knowledgeable of all positions and willing and able to fill any position in the location if needed.
Performs and completes other duties as assigned by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Previous experience within food and beverage required; prior supervisory experience is helpful; training is provided.

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Under general direction, plans, schedules, assigns, and inspects the work of staff responsible for performing the full range of custodial duties related to the care, routine maintenance, and cleaning of all District facilities; ensures that custodial work practices, equipment, and chemical use and storage comply with applicable safety standards; coordinates custodial support for meetings, special events, and classroom moves; assists in the planning of new District construction by recommending standard fixtures and appropriate custodial facilities in order to optimize custodial services for new facilities; and performs related work as required.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED
Receives general direction from a classified administrator. Exercises direct and general supervision over custodial staff.
CLASS CHARACTERISTICS
This is the full supervisory-level class in Custodial Services. Incumbent is responsible for planning, organizing, supervising, reviewing, and evaluating the work of custodial staff either directly or through lead workers. Performance of supervisory-level work requires the use of considerable independent judgment, initiative, and discretion within established guidelines. The incumbent also regularly performs custodial duties during peak workload periods or employee absences.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Any combination of training and experience that would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:
Equivalent to completion of the twelfth (12th) grade
AND
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible custodial or janitorial experience, INCLUDINGtwo (2) years of lead or supervisory experience, preferably for an organization with multiple locations.
* One year of experience is equal to 12 months of experience at 40 hours per week. Applicable part-time experience will be converted to the full-time equivalent for purposes of meeting the experience requirement.
* If specifically referenced (i.e. degree 'or equivalent'), related experience that is above the minimum requirement may be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
* Additional assessment is required for applicants with foreign degrees from colleges or universities outside of the United States. Applicants must have their coursework evaluated by a professional association that is a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) and must submit a copy of the evaluation with the application.

SALARY SCHEDULE:SCCDAA - Administrators
8.10 Salary Differentials:Classified Administrators whose normal assignment requires them to work until 7:00 PM or later for at least 75% of their work year will be entitled to one additional range on the salary schedule for the entire year.

The Supervisor oversees and coordinates assigned functions, activities, and services of the Undocumented Student Center, as well as participates in the daily activities of providing international, undocumented, and immigration-impacted students with specialized information, assistance, support, connections, referrals, and training. The Supervisor also partners with campus stakeholders and community organizations to: provide resources and deliver services for undocumented and immigration-impacted students; effect a student-centered support ecosystem; maximize international, undocumented, and immigration-impacted students' access to all available support services; and, promote student equity, success, retention, and completion by removing structural and systemic barriers to degree and credential attainment. The Supervisor effectively engages in partnership development, grant management, and reporting duties in support of the Undocumented Student Center and international students, and the position requires maintaining currency regarding topical issues, emerging strategies, best practices, legislation, and local, state, and federal policies related to international, undocumented, and immigration-impacted students. As part of a comprehensive Student Services team, the Supervisor also coordinates student engagement or basic needs events, performs related services, and provides oversight for center operations, as needed.

* Collaborates and coordinates with the campus career center and regional partners to develop on-campus paid internships, peer to peer mentor programming, on-campus employment, stipends for AB540, DACA, and other undocumented students connected to their career interests.
* Provides proactive, personalized support to undocumented and immigration-impacted students by connecting and meeting with them and their families on a regular basis at all District locations (Rocklin, Roseville, Nevada County and Tahoe-Truckee), as well as off-campus as needed.
* Creates, authors, and develops culturally-inclusive and multi-lingual outreach and recruitment communications in print, electronic, web and social media formats; maintains a virtual presence and online services for international, undocumented, and immigration-impacted students; develops and provides comprehensive recruitment strategies and services, especially in partnership with external educational and nonprofit organizations, for international, undocumented, and immigration-impacted students.
* Provides comprehensive, in-depth program information through individual meetings, group information sessions, admissions workshops, and panel discussions to diverse populations; maintains an equity-minded and intersectional focus, responsiveness, and sensitivity towards disproportionately impacted communities.

Job Description: Train, supervise, and support a team of 18-20 wilderness staff in the following program areas: 1-2 night backpacking trips, multi-week teen adventure Quests, risk management, group facilitation, and Leave No Trace. Coordinate and schedule backpacking trips and troubleshoot Quest logistics as needed. Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration with the Kitchen, Health Center, Unit Heads and others depending on need. Liaise with local parks departments and rangers. Respond to emergencies in the field. Must be able to navigate over 4-8 miles of uneven terrain to different program areas around camp daily. Live in shared housing. Must be 21+ with current Wilderness First Responder or WEMT and Lifeguard certifications. Must have a valid driver's licence and clean driving record. Prior Tawonga Wilderness Leader experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities
Training and Supervision
Lead workshops and training during Wild Week and Staff Training for all Wilderness Leaders.
Lead Wilderness department meetings and ongoing training.
Supervise backpacking leaders and Quest leaders. This includes pre-season and ongoing training, observation, feedback, policy enforcement, formal and informal check-ins, and written evaluations.
Backpacking Management
Manage logistics for the in-camp backpacking program. This includes creating schedules, communicating with other departments (Counselors & Unit Heads, Health Center, Kitchen, Drivers, Directors, Office), purchasing permits, seeing off BP trips and welcoming returns.
Coordinate elective day hike logistics.
Maintain and update BP Destinations manual.
Inventory and maintain safety of all Backpacking (BP) equipment, facilitate gear sign out, help Wilderness Leaders keep shed organized, purchase new equipment as needed, and conduct final inventory at end of summer with a list of what needs to be ordered for the following season.
Submit monthly actual use reports to Yosemite NP and bear reports as needed.
Quest Management
Prepare quest leaders to lead multi-week trips on the road.
Support pre-trip preparations (planning and gathering materials), remotely supervise once the trip has started via regularly scheduled quest phone calls, support challenges with group management, camper behavior, route changes due to fire/smoke or other unexpected circumstances.
Conduct end of quest return process, including gear return, paperwork and final evaluations.
Manage ********************** email to coordinate with outfitters and other logistics as needed.
Other
Meet daily with the Wild Supervisor Team or as needed
Report significant counselor or kid events to the 5 o'clock team, and all staff/safety issues to Supervisor.
Maintain records (schedules, certifications, incidents, and purchases).
Drive, lead trips, lead BP prep or gear return, as needed.
Provide coverage to other Wild Supervisors as needed, e.g. supervising Teva and Garden programs, observing at Challenge Course, etc.
Facilitate gear lending and sign-out to non-wilderness camp staff.
Attend daily 5 o'clock meetings.
Work closely with the Head of Transportation to supervise Drivers.
Assist the Head of Transportation in creating vehicle/driver schedules.
Qualifications
21+
Wilderness First Responder or WEMT and Lifeguard certifications required*
Valid driver's licence and clean driving record required
Backpacking, environmental education, and/or guiding experience required
Prior Tawonga Wilderness Leader experience preferred

Challenge Course Program Management
Manage all logistics for the Challenge Course. This includes schedules, communication with other departments (Kitchen, Health Center, Counselors and Unit Heads), equipment inventory, shed and cabinet organization, maintaining safety of course and all equipment, resetting fallen ropes, and responding to any emergencies that arise on the course.
Observe and assist groups on the course daily and address safety concerns immediately.
Inspect gear/course at beginning, middle, and end of season, retire gear and order new equipment as needed with approval of Supervisor.
Provide support at clearinghouse for initiatives, second chances at ropes.
Coordinate with ChallengeWorks for inspections and repairs.
Update manuals and logs, organize challenge course resources, and keep Tawonga's Challenge Course program aligned with current ACCT standards.

Meet daily with the Wild Supervisor Team or as needed.
