Pen Bay Hospital is seeking a full time Lead EnvironmentalServicesTechnician to join their team!
Summary: This position consists of 40 hours per week, night shifts.
The Lead EnvironmentalServices - PBH WH role in addition to working as an EVS team member, performs leadership and provides direction for environmentalservices team members. This position is responsible for adjusting staffing and cleaning schedules to meet the needs of the clinical departments and for maintaining cleaning supplies, mentoring and training other environmentalservice team members, and acts as a liaison between the environmentalservice team and EVS Supervisor.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Summary
The Patient Services Support Technician I role is responsible for providing services to support patient care by transporting patients and equipment, stocking and maintaining certain equipment and supplies, and serving as a contact for patients, family, and visitors during patient transportation.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
* Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
* License/Certifications: Current BLS Certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.

- Crime Scene cleanup
- Chemical substance/drug cleanup & removal
- Hoarding and squalor remediation
- Jail cell/cruiser cleanup
-Medical Waste/Needle pickup and disposal
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Honest, hardworking & trustworthy
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude
- Good physical health, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and pass a breathing test
- Able to work off-hours, be on-call, overnight stays and expected to work overtime hours
- Versatile & handy, comfortable working with power tools
- Own a mobile phone
- Ability to obtain a DOT card
- Reliable transportation
- clean driving record, able to pass a Cori check
- GED / HS Diploma/ Industry Experience / Military
- Experience using demolition tools, personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Experience in Restoration, Bio-Hazard Clean Up or Construction industries

Compensation:
Paid travel time and starting work rate at $27/Hour (Depending on experience & job type). SIGNIFICANT OVERTIME OPPORTUNIES AVAILABLE.
