Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, repairing and maintaining large industrial textile processing equipment, as well as facility maintenance. Essential Functions:
- Installs, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on industrial processing equipment, water levels, water systems and other equipment and systems.
- Troubleshoots electrical issues.
- Responds to daily maintenance requests in a timely fashion to minimize equipment downtime.
- Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment, including 480V power systems.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical machinery, PLCs, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on electrical equipment and systems.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or its equivalent
Electrical Journeyman License or one of the following:
At least three years of commercial/industrial electrical field experience
At least four years of residential electrical field experience
Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
Demonstrated familiarity with the principles and techniques with electrical and associated trades.
Working knowledge of the operational characteristics of mechanical equipment and tools
Demonstrated experience with electrical system components and control systems.
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English

Our Operations Team is looking for a Journeyman Lineman. The Journeyman Lineman is accountable for ensuring that electric services for the Cooperative are safely and efficiently maintained for all members. Responsibilities include training and mentoring members of service crew teams to safely perform work, leading and directing service crews with constructing, repairing, and maintaining the Cooperative's electrical distribution infrastructure, and ensuring all equipment is maintained while exemplifying safe work practices for all electrical personnel.
Essential Job Duties
Electrical Services
Perform all required duties, both on the ground and overhead, involving construction, maintenance, and repair operations under energized line conditions including but not limited to poles, transformers, and transmission and distribution lines
Train and mentor those in Lineman positions of Second and Third class and Apprentice positions
Lead and delegate service and work order tasks to crew as required
Ensure required documents for service and work orders, staking sheets, and other documents are completed and have all required signatures
Provide support for all major and non-major outages
Assemble, inspect, and load the necessary materials for all assignments
Complete inspection and servicing tasks to ensure that trucks, tools, and equipment are properly used and maintained in good working order
Proactively identify and resolve issues as quickly and safely as possible
Training and Development

What you'll do…
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician, Automation & Controls to support the integration, commissioning, and optimization of generator packages and electrical systems within advanced microgrid projects. This role is hands-on and dynamic, requiring expertise in automation, controls, and system performance to help ensure reliable, safe, and compliant operations. This is a field position based out of San Antonio, Texas and will report directly to the Manager of Automation & Controls Engineering.

System Integration & Commissioning
Contributing to the integration of generator packages, switchgear, and electrical systems in line with project specifications, safety protocols, and timelines.
Carrying out and validate cable schedules, control packages, and system testing protocols.
Performing start-up and performance testing activities to confirm operational readiness and safety compliance.
Project Execution & Handover
Supporting the transition from construction to commissioning and operations teams by confirming integration requirements are met.
Tracking and closing punch list items by documenting deficiencies and assisting with resolution.
Providing troubleshooting support during early operational phases following system integration.
Technical Contribution
Assisting in troubleshooting automation, protection, and control systems (e.g., Schneider PLCs, DeepSea Controllers, ABB Relays, SEL devices).
Participating in the development and delivery of training for site personnel and contractors on microgrid operations, controls, and start-up procedures.
Helping maintain documentation control and reporting, ensuring accurate project records.
