SEASONAL - Pikes Peak - America's Mountain (PPAM) Maintenance Worker - Snow Removal How many people can boast that they remove snow on one of the most iconic mountains in the world? In this position, you will perform a variety of maintenance duties in support of Pikes Peak - America's Mountain with snow removal as your primary responsibility. Our PPAM road crew and facilities maintenance staff will support you with every scoop and bucket removal of snow. This is a seasonal (at-will) position with benefits limited to those required by applicable state and federal laws, which include Worker's Compensation, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance, and PERA (Public Employees' Retirement Association). Anticipated dates of employment are from February through July. Work schedule will be up to 40 hours per week, Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday, with some weekend and holiday work required. Traditional work hours are 7am to 3:30 pm, dependent upon snowstorms. Total hours worked will not exceed 1,500 annually. Regular attendance and a flexible availability work schedule is essential to the performance of this job. Some snow apparel gear will be provided.
