The Maintenance/Grounds worker will perform duties to keep the district facilities and grounds well maintained and to provide for a comfortable learning environment which is free from safety hazards. The Maintenance Technician is directly responsible for the day-to-day maintenance operations of a 60-unit affordable housing tax credit property serving elderly residents, under the direction of the Community Manager. This role ensures all apartments are rent-ready prior to move-ins, including assessing and addressing damages, painting, cleaning, and overall unit condition. The Maintenance Technician maintains the property grounds, completes work order requests in a timely manner in accordance with agency standards, and accurately documents all work through completion. The position requires building and maintaining positive, respectful relationships with residents, as well as effective working relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service professionals supporting the property. Responsibilities: Maintain physical condition of the property. Perform scheduled maintenance on all equipment based on all equipment based on the manufacturer's recommendations and the Operating and Maintenance manual. Vacant Unit Turn-Over Maintenance as directed by the Facilities Manager. Occupied Unit Maintenance as specified by the Facilities Manager.
