Char Tosi attended December 83 and Rich Tosi January 84. (Bill Kauth staffed UYO twice; Rich staffed five times and did the Professional Excellence Program (PEP) Rich, Ron and Bill all staffed UYO in December 1984.
The second time it was held, in April 1985, it was called the New Warrior Training Adventure.
MKPAL is a member of the world organisation and has an input into the future of the world organisation as it expands the work of those original men back in 1985.
In 1987, a group of men in Chicago sponsored a New Warrior Training Adventure, and the seeds of the New Warrior Network were planted.
Mark Carnes’s 1989 book, Secret Ritual and Manhood in Victorian America, spoke of these early American initiation societies as being primarily about initiation and very little else.
Ron Hering is dead by the hand of his father-in-law in a murder-suicide in May 1993 during a custody dispute.

Robert Moore in his address to the to the 1995 Summer Conference of the New Warrior Network ended with this:
In February 1998, the New Warrior Network changed its name to The ManKind Project.
In September 2000 MKP–USA granted Australia the licence to run the Mankind Project trainings.
In November 2000 the first training was conducted in Australia at a place called Eagle Heights on Tamborine Mountain, Queensland.

Following that training four trainings were held in 2001 with great success and the organisation called MKP Australia was born!
More than 27,000 men had completed the New Warrior Training Adventure as of January 2004.
