As a Facilities Technician 2, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence. + Physical ability to perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting over 50 lbs and handling tools.

**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Join our team as a Maintenance Technician where you will play a vital role in the installation and maintenance of machinery and mechanical equipment critical to our operations. Your expertise will guide others during the planning and installation process, ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of machines, control panels, switchboards, and motors.
**Responsibilities**
+ Participate in the installation of new machinery and mechanical equipment.
+ Guide and collaborate during planning and installation processes.
+ Install and maintain machines, control panels, switchboards, junction boxes, switches, and motors.
+ Test circuits, diagnose readings, and resolve problems efficiently.
+ Discuss report readings with external machine tool manufacturers for advice.
+ Coordinate with Engineering Staff on changes to plant layout requiring equipment movement.
+ Provide input on equipment placement, cost, and time requirements for changes.
+ Diagnose electrical/mechanical-related issues with automated machine tools.
+ Use diagnostic equipment to locate malfunction causes and verify with equipment vendors.
+ Employ hand and power tools to replace components, make adjustments, and recalibrate machinery.
+ Manage equipment maintenance manuals and service records.
+ Monitor third-party maintenance contractors and provide feedback.
+ Maintain maintenance shop and spare parts inventory.
+ Set up shop with necessary tools and supplies for machine maintenance.
+ Issue purchase orders for inventory management and implement systems for parts issuance.
+ Participate in and sustain 6S activities.
+ Ensure safety policies are followed and encourage safe working practices among coworkers.
+ Participate in kaizen events and sustain improvements.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
+ Experience with 480v and 3-phase motors.
+ Ability to read schematics or electrical drawings.
+ Experience with lockout/tag out procedures.
+ Experience with hydraulic systems.
+ Basic welding skills (MIG or TIG).
+ Experience with AC/DC motors and drives.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PLCs (Allen Bradley, Eaton, and Automation Direct).
+ Arc flash training or gear training.
+ Building maintenance experience.
+ Ability to read relay logic or ladder logic.

We are seeking a skilled IndustrialMaintenance Technician to join our team on the night shift. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, combustion, and electronic systems within our industrial facility.
**Responsibilities**
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, combustion, and electronic systems.
+ Follow the preventative maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns and prioritize repairs with guidance from Plant Management.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on conveyors, mixers, and other fabrication and auxiliary equipment.
+ Inspect and maintain air compressors, cooling water systems, and extrusion press operations daily.
+ Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing fuses, switches, solenoids, and gates.
+ Assist with equipment installations and modifications to improve safety and efficiency.
+ Complete work orders and documentation in CMMS.
+ Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
+ Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
+ Set up and operate shop equipment such as lathes, drill presses, grinders, horizontal band saws, end mills, vertical band saws, pipe threaders, and other metalworking tools to maintain or repair parts.
**Essential Skills**
+ 5+ years of experience in industrialmaintenance.
+ 5+ years of experience with 480v electrical troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in electrical (480v) and mechanicalmaintenance (60% electrical, 40% mechanical).
+ Knowledge of troubleshooting PLCs (ladder logic).
+ Ability to read blueprints or schematics for troubleshooting issues.
+ Experience in replacing fuses, switches, and solenoids.
+ Must have own tools for mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC, motors, preventive maintenance, and automation.

+ Ability to work independently and take direction from the Maintenance Supervisor.
