This position also supports all auditing, reporting and analytical functions (buys, past due PO's), price variations, PO/Pricing audits, inventory reporting, inventory reconciliations, vendor scorecards, S&OP commentary/follow up and service strategies.

Maintain vendor relationships with vendor contacts in purchasing and fulfillment.
Works with Purchasing on negotiation of purchases for products and or services. Interfaces regularly with vendors/suppliers, other user functions and support groups in execution of position duties. Evaluates supplier/vendors performance based on knowledge of deliveries, service and quality of acquired product.

Analyze DRP driven actions ensuring economic flows of material to both distribution and direct customer requirements. Must focus on material availability, lead-time and customer delivery requirements.
Create and maintain the distribution plan based on capacity, market demand, and business requirements.
Work with all internal customers to solve problems associated with materials flow and production planning. Keeping all key parties in the materials flow system aware of needs, problems, and other issues to improve the overall information flow.
Measure performance to plans of all segments necessary to ensure compliance to plans.
Work with Demand Planning, Product Management, Sales, Purchasing, Production, and others to adequately meet supply plans of new products. Report progress of new products to plan.
Identify dysfunctional, inactive, and obsolete items and take appropriate action to discontinue and dispose of inventory.
Plan, review, and manage inventory levels on a SKU basis within company goals. Responsible for the management of safety stock and / or order point calculations / levels at the appropriate stocking locations.
Manage distribution center / warehouse inventory levels and deploy / re-deploy base products and or promotional items as appropriate to meet demand and the company objectives of fill rate by utilizing the most economical transportation mode.
Measurements: Cycle Time, Fill Rate, Stock Outs, FG Inventory, Intra-Company Transportation, etc.
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION / TRAINING:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Operations Management
Certification (C.P.I.M.) or progress towards certification strongly desired. 3-5 years minimum of Supply Planning or Materials Management experience, preferably in a Consumer-Packaged Goods company.
Knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) concepts. Knowledge of ERP material planning and Microsoft Office package.

* Assist with reading, interpreting, composing, and reviewing Planning Reports,

* Outlines study approach, process, methodology, and documentation methods.
* Collaborates as part of a multi-disciplinary project team within the Advanced Mobility
* Group and across the planning practice.
* Develop relationships and engages with clients, project stakeholders, and the public.
* Manages project efforts, budgets, and reports on project performance.
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor's degree in Transportation or Urban Planning or related field, Master's preferred
* American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) required or able to obtain within 1 year
* 10+ years of applicable experience
* Knowledge of and experience with transportation planning practices
* Strong management skills to ensure clients' requirements are met within schedule and budget.
* Demonstrated ability to ideate, define, and execute a scope of work
* Demonstrated abilities in analysis, problem solving, and/or strategic thinking
* Knowledge of transportation systems management and operations

DESCRIPTION
This position requires enthusiasm for data research, analysis and production of various maps, graphics and related data sets primarily utilizing GIS. As such, this position assists with the collection and tabulation of datasets, word processing and spreadsheet applications and preparation of map graphics in a multi-task environment.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven, intellectually curious, have strong writing skills, is committed to excellence, and possess a demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in the ESRI ArcGIS suite, and has knowledge and career interest in the principles, practices and trends in transportation planning.
This position follows a hybrid work model, combining both in-office and remote work. Employees are expected to split their time between working onsite and from home, based on team needs and scheduling guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the direction of transportation planners, essential job duties may include:
Assist in the preparation of complex multimodal rural/urban transportation projects, including state, local and/or regional long-range area transportation plans; corridor studies; safety analysis; pedestrian/bicycle plans; transit feasibility studies, etc.
Collect, organize and report upon observational, spatial, traffic operations, and other transportation data from multiple matrices for projects, research, and public opinion surveys.
Prepare data and visualizations such as tables, charts, figures/maps, models, infographics, and 3D illustrations for the interpretation or presentation of data, analyses and findings.
Reconcile results of geospatial analysis to assist in the preparation of documentation, mapping and graphics.
Utilize the ESRI ArcGIS and Adobe suites in the production of various mapping and graphic applications.
Use travel demand modeling software and other transportation analysis tools to forecast and report future traffic volumes, levels of service, traffic operations, mode shift and origin/destination.
Assist with preparing, coordinating, and facilitating public and stakeholder involvement meeting materials and graphics in support of client project work.
Work closely and effectively communicate data needs, priorities and support matters with the Transportation Planning team.
Research and support various transportation related government regulations, standards and grant programs.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENT
Minimum four-year degree in Planning, Engineering, Geography, GIS, or Environmental Sciences or related field of study is preferred.
1-3 years of related experience working directly in the transportation planning field, actively engaging in projects relating the preparation of various types of transportation plans and studies, transportation demand management, mobility planning, multimodal access, surface transportation, and funding.
Effective analytical skills and some prior experience with research techniques, local/regional geography, transportation networks, systems, and modalities.
Proficient oral and report writing skills. Expresses confidence and comfort in interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to a technical and non-technical audience.
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instruction, work independently, and comply with company policies.
Experience with discipline-specific software (i.e., CAD, ArcGIS, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up).
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

COMPENSATION
The approximate compensation range for this position $59,862.30 - $94,307.40 per year. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
