Requirements High‑school diploma or equivalent Proven experience performing and writing-up detailed site surveys for network, server racks, telecom closets, or data rooms 5 years experience in data center or network infrastructure, with both survey and installation experience Demonstrated technical expertise in copper/fiber cabling standards; skilled in using testing tools (OTDR, multimeter, cable testers) Strong spatial awareness and ability to interpret blueprints, floor plans, and equipment layouts Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.; frequent bending, kneeling, standing, and ladder work Able to work in confined spaces (telecom closets, under raised floors) Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites Desired Technical certifications (e.g., Cabling, BICSI, NVIS) Secret clearance Experience with fiber termination/splicing (SC, LC, anaerobic) and testing Prior work in structured cabling survey or network refresh projects Overview About Technica: At Technica Corporation, our goal is to provide exceptional professional services and innovative technology solutions that meet or exceed our customer's expectations.
