The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding the integration and interoperability of complex systems across the USMC ISR enterprise. Model-Based SystemsEngineering (MBSE): Apply MBSE principles and tools (such as Cameo (SysML, UAF)) to develop and maintain mission and scenario-based architectures, define "as-is" and "to-be" architectures, and review requirements traceability within available tools (such as JAMA). Guide the transition from document-based approaches to a model-based digital engineering environment.
Communication and Reporting: Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences of all ranks/grades. Prepare and present technical briefings and status reports to leadership and customer representatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in SystemsEngineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field and at least 8 years of systemsengineering, integration, or a related role.
Proven experience with C4ISR systems
Strong understanding of systemsengineering lifecycle, requirements analysis, and interface design.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Works with development teams to address architecture, integration, and technical issues
Advises on practical implementations and develops findings and work-off plans
Translates strategic architectures into implementation level guidance
Supports IT-related tasks in areas such as developing requirements, placing / monitoring service requests, monitoring cloud costs, and conducting on-premises vs cloud trades
Develops productive relationships with the development contractor, spacecraft and payload subject matter experts (SMEs), and other functional counterparts
Advises and mentors customer personnel regarding network and cloud architectures
Provides technical and cost assessment of vendor proposals, reviews technical reports, design artifacts and program plans
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Must be a US Citizen
Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
BS or MS degree in relevant Science, Technology, or Engineering field of study
8+ Years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally on satellite programs (government or commercial)
Superb technical skills and experience related to ground systems hardware and software
Experience architecting, engineering, developing, and deploying large scale network solutions
Experience architecting, engineering, developing, and deploying large scale cloud solutions
Effective communication, coordination, and customer engagement skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic, and team-oriented environment without supervision
Desired Qualifications:
12+ Years of work experience in a relevant field, ideally on satellite programs (government or commercial)
Cloud provider certifications such as AWS / Azure Solution Architect
CompTIA, Cisco, or other industry network engineering certifications
Familiarity with cryptographic security management and implementations to support ground architectures

Target Salary Range $135,000 - $216,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
