Position responsibilities • Implements design and build plan changes, minimizing disruption while capturing maximum benefits through highly collaborative behavior and processes championed by Manufacturing Engineering and inclusive of all the stakeholders in the change. • Responsible for integrating changes to the affected commodities and executing the Build Integration milestones. • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. • Support the execution of the Build Integration process by providing visibility of active engineering design changes and associated risks to milestones and ensuring design changes advance through the review process. • Facilitate collaboration and integration across the affected commodities. • Develop and implement manufacturing plans. • Create installation planning and supporting installation planning shipside in San Antonio. • Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects. REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's Degree or higher in STEM (ABET) and 5+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 2-3+ years' experience reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications. • 2-3+ years' experience supporting the development of the engineering technical data packages needed to produce aircraft parts and components. • 2-3+ years' experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills, teaming successfully to solve technical issues. • Experience with CATIA Preferred Skills/Qualifications: • 2-3+ years' experience with IVT • Experience with GoldEsp • Manufacturing engineering experience at Boeing • Microsoft Office Suite Skills Additional Sills: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
