* Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses to bend, cut, form, punch, drill, or assemble metal components.

* Tack-weld fitted parts together.
* Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches.

* Read work orders or other instructions to determine product specifications or material requirements.

Knowledge and Skills
* Proficiency in operating fabricating and welding equipment

Local (Phoenix Metro Area) construction company seeking qualified and experienced PEB/PEMB erectors for all phases of metal building projects.
It's essential that you possess the knowledge, ability, and understanding of commercial steel erection construction and safety practices.
Seeking 1-2 years minimum experience erecting PEB or metal cladding as a laborer, foreman, and/or superintendent.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: PEB steel erection, metal roofs/walls and insulation. You'll be responsible for working on the ground, on lifts, and on elevated surfaces while wearing personal protective equipment.
Construction projects are located within Arizona, primarily in the Maricopa County area.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, hold and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.
