Responsibilities
As a TMA at Charter House, you will work under the supervision of a licensed nurse, to use your knowledge and skills in medication administration. You will partner with staff to ensure consistent, quality service to meet the needs and goals of Health Center residents. Responsibilities include:
* Providing medication in a timely manner.
* Interact politely and professionally with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship with the exception of the TN visa classification; Also, Mayo Clinic DOES NOT participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications.
* Must be 18 years old.
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Completion of Medical Administration course

* Experience working with geriatric population is preferred.
* Ability to work under the supervision of licensed staff.
* Excellent communication and human relations sills to interact with Health Service and Charter House staff.
* Strong problem-solving skills.

Licensure

On the Neuro/Tele side they provide care to patients that have had a transient ischemic attack (TIA), stroke, confusion, seizures and VP shunt placement. Nurses are Stroke Certified through the Joint Commission. This position has the opportunity to acquire Med/Surg or Neuro Certifications.
Job Responsibilities:
The Nursing Assistant, as a member of the interdependent team led by a designated RN, is accountable to perform patient care duties and activities for a group of patients. Performs such care as vital sign checks, bladder scanning, blood sugar testing, documentation of cares provided.
