Require to be working towards Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) or Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) within 30-60 days of employment at Bowen Health. What You'll Do: As a Maintenance Technician at Curaleaf, you'll help keep our facility safe, efficient, and in great condition by handling a variety of maintenance and repair tasks, including: * Tour buildings and grounds regularly to identify and document facility needs or deficiencies * Complete daily and preventative maintenance work orders, ensuring all assigned tasks are handled in a timely and thorough manner * Respond quickly to emergency work orders such as water leaks, clogged drains, loss of power, or other safety-related issues * Install and troubleshoot lighting systems by changing bulbs, fixtures, switches, and circuit breakers * Maintain plumbing fixtures by replacing washers, toilet seats, and other components * Complete urgent and routine work orders, including moving, assembling, and installing freestanding or wall-mounted equipment * Forward work orders that require completion by specific trades and ensure follow-up as needed * Support seasonal upkeep such as snow removal, de-icing, and general grounds maintenance What You'll Bring: * You have a high school diploma or GED, ideally paired with a certificate from a vocational or certified school in building maintenance * You bring 3-5 years of hands-on experience in building or facility maintenance, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail * You're skilled in a wide range of maintenance tasks and tools, from electrical and plumbing repairs to carpentry, painting, and preventative maintenance * You take a proactive, dependable, and safety-focused approach to your work and thrive whether working independently or as part of a team * You communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, and maintain a customer-focused mindset * You're comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, lifting heavy objects, and being outdoors in various weather conditions * You're flexible and adaptable, with the ability to adjust to different shifts or hours to meet operational needs Even Better If: * You have experience across multiple trades, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting * You can confidently read and interpret prints, sketches, wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams, and schematics Physical Requirements * Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time (8-10 hours per shift) * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance * Frequent and repetitive use of hands and wrists for extended periods of time * Repetitive bending, squatting, and reaching * Ability to climb ladders or step stools to access plants or equipment * Ability to use required PPE when required, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary Environmental Conditions * Exposure to environments with high humidity, varying temperatures, and strong odors (such as cannabis) * Exposure to soil, water, fertilizer, dust, pollen and plant pathogens * Exposure to cleaning solvents, such as high volumes of isopropyl alcohol * Exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms * Exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels

What You'll Be Doing Working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, you'll help maintain and support residential properties, and occasionally community spaces and high-use facilities. Core Responsibilities General Maintenance: Assist with basic plumbing (e.g., clogs and leaks), replace HVAC filters, patch drywall, and perform touch-up paint work. Appliances & Electrical: Conduct basic troubleshooting and minor repairs on common household appliances. Safety & Documentation: Maintain daily logs, inspect tools, and report equipment issues. On-Call & Emergency Response: Rotate on-call responsibilities with other maintenance technicians. Assist with urgent issues alongside senior maintenance staff, including snow removal and debris clean up. Requirements At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or related field. Self-taught experience will be considered. Hands-on skills in basic building systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and painting). Comfort working in high-stress or unpredictable environments. Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions. Under the supervision of either the Manager or Director, performs emergency, routine, and preventative maintenance in such diverse areas as electrical, plumbing, HVAC&R, boiler operations, and mechanical. Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and take corrective action on systems and equipment unique to a health care facility. Must have strong knowledge and experience in two or more described areas. RESPONSIBILITIES * Completes all assigned work orders in a satisfactory and proper manner with attention to priority. Completed work must contain proper documentation to include time spent, materials used and correction action with supporting data to provide adequate history including equipment number. Turns in all work orders within 24 hours of completion. * Demonstrates proper judgment in meeting the needs of Plant/Engineering and those of the hospital. Displays appropriate decision-making skills. * Demonstrates ability to assess problem/situation and either complete repair or contact appropriate personnel. Demonstrates skill and knowledge in assigned work areas including select areas of specialization with the ability to assess and make repairs with minimal supervision. Technical skills will be maintained and enhanced over time as mechanical skills advance. Utilizes tools and test equipment associated with repair tasks. * Reads and understands blue prints. * Defines potential problems before equipment fails. Responsible for notification of low stock inventories * Participates as a team member in order to meet the department's objectives.
