Inspects equipment for proper functioning and performs preventative maintenance duties per manufacturer's specifications. Diagnosis equipment malfunctions and makes repairs or adjustments as needed. Layout, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. 8. Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment, such as robots or programmable controllers. 9. Set up and operate machine tools, such as lathe, grinder, drill, and milling machine, to repair or fabricate machine parts. Other Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment and perform preventative maintenance functions. 2. Assist production personnel in change-over and set-up procedures. 3. The Heavy Equipment Lube Tech is responsible for fueling, greasing, and performing routine service checks on heavy construction equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role supports mechanics and operators by maintaining proper fluid levels, performing preventative maintenance tasks, and identifying potential issues before they become major repairs. Key Responsibilities Fuel, grease, and service heavy equipment daily in compliance with company standards. Inspect and maintain fluid levels (engine oil, coolant, hydraulic oil, transmission fluid, etc.). Perform routine inspections to identify leaks, loose parts, and visible wear. Operate lube/fuel truck safely and efficiently to service equipment across job sites. Track and log service records for all equipment maintained. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and company regulations. Keep equipment and fueling areas clean and organized. The Aircraft Mechanic I is responsible to the Lead Mechanic and performs work under FARs and a Part 145 Repair Station supporting customer flight operations, maintenance, repairs, and modifications. Aviation Operations Center (AOC) at Alliance Airport, Fort Worth, Texas. The essential functions include but are not limited to, the following duties. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Technical trade school, military experience, or equivalent on-the-job training required Hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant certificate issued by the FAA required Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as an A&P; 3 of the 5 years with experience on High Wing Cessna 206/210 series, King Air series, Challenger, Citation, Bell 407, 412, or MD-500 helicopters or similar aircraft (preferred). Experience shall be in a similar position within the last twelve (12) months. Shall possess a working knowledge of the applicable Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and their application to the airframe and powerplant troubleshooting procedures and techniques. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS: The following skills and abilities are required: Extensive knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, and a working knowledge of composite repairs. (preferred) Must have excellent oral and written communication skills Must own sufficient hand tools to perform A&P duties The ability to obtain a Department of Justice (DOJ) Security Clearance is required Must maintain a valid US Passport and the appropriate vaccinations required for international travel. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license. Thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures, and replacement of parts Basic knowledge of electrical theory Rotor & propeller track and balance experience using common equipment (i.e. Chadwick, MicroVibe, and RADS) Thorough knowledge of aircraft's unique tools Working knowledge of technical publications Receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician Occasionally leads teams through more complex aircraft-relevant tasks May be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records and approve aircraft for service return.
