Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Diagnoses vehicles according to the appropriate level of certifications/experience.
Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs.
Performs work as outlined on the Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order with efficiency and accuracy.
Explains technical diagnosis and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include the Store Manager, Service Consultants and/or customers.

A Brief Overview

The Head Landscape Mechanic is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of all the landscaping equipment and machinery. Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in a mechanic shop environment; walk, stand, and sit for prolonged periods of time; frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, reach, and twist; push, and pull
Ability to safely operate assigned equipment and vehicles
Regularly scheduled for 4-day, 40-hour workweek, Monday through Thursday; overtime occasionally required.

Job Summary
The A&P Mechanic - Piston Aircraft will perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on piston-powered aircraft. This includes ensuring compliance with FAA regulations, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with team members to deliver safe, airworthy aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct airframe and powerplant inspections in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer requirements.

- Remove, replace, and/or repair system components as needed;

- Performs major and minor mechanical repairs on all company-owned equipment including brakes, suspension, engine repair/rebuild, repair mechanical systems, gears, belt drives, electrical, welding, custom fabrication, and component swap;
- Repair, replace, and/or perform preventative maintenance on engines, equipment, and tools;
- Conduct mechanical diagnostics, equipment repair, and safety inspections of various systems including brakes, suspension, electrical and hydraulic, diesel, gas, 2-cycle, and 4-cycle motors, as well as on-road and off-road equipment;
- Works with crew to maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory;
- Works with crew to maintain the shop, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion;
- Demonstrate efficient improvement of light-duty landscape equipment (e.g.,3 wheelers, compactors, power brooms), heavy-duty landscape equipment (e.g., trenchers, skid steers, chain saws), and related tools;
- Be able to rely on manufacturer diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, the internet, and specifications to guide proper troubleshooting, repair, or replacement;
- Proficient use of hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments;
- Bed able to supply reviews / equipment reports;
- Complete a weekly operational evaluation on machinery to identify potential areas needing repair;
- Determine course of action required for repair/service and establish a timeline needed to complete;
- Be able to develops a list of parts needed and source from local supplier;
- lubricate and cleans parts / equipment on a weekly basis;
- Comply with all policies, procedures, and performance goals;
- Ensure that all safety laws, policies, and practices are met;
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards;
