What you get to do:
As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, inspections, and alterations of Company operated aircraft. You will ensure company operation goals are met, while guaranteeing all aircraft maintenance documentation follows FAA regulations, company policies and applicable maintenance manuals. During the day, you will:
Perform inspections and repairs of aircraft/components in accordance with maintenance procedures, airworthiness directives, service bulletins, service letters and applicable FAA regulations
Be responsible for correcting compliance or safety issues when directed by the Director of Operations, Director of Maintenance, Chief Pilot, Director of Safety or Lead Mechanic
Perform maintenance on 145 shop's support equipment
Advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues that would take aircraft out of service
Ensure all maintenance documentation is in compliance
Actively participate in the continuous improvement phase (level 4) of the company's Safety Management System and be familiar with the SMS policies, processes, and procedures

What you will bring to the team:
ROTORCRAFT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and TWO to FIVE years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Factory Airframe/power plant schools preferred
FAR 135 operations experience preferred
Previous experience with RAMCO preferred
Ability to successfully pass FAA mandated Drug and Alcohol Test
FAA A&P License in good standing- REQUIRED
Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
Valid Drivers License REQUIRED

What we would like from you

POSITION SUMMARY
As an Automotive Service Technician for Big O Tires, you will perform service and installation activities associated with store products and services in an accurate and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
Provide fast and friendly customer service.
Test drive vehicles, test components and systems useing diagnostics tools and special service equipment
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
Perform coolant flushes, transmission services, Brake flushes and other regular vehicle maintenance
Promote sales through explaining benefits of service and products to customers
Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers
Keep supervisor informed of any maintenance problems and/or any issues that need attention
Safely operate customer vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions
Maintain a clean environment, tools and equipment, using company guidelines
Know and adhere to company policies and procedures
Utilize and perform all duties on the company checklists to meet consistent adherence to policies, procedures and expectations

ABOUT THE ROLE
PURPOSE Responsible for maintaining the mobile equipment fleet in a state of readiness, including heavy construction, automotive equipment, mechanical equipment and machinery. Performs the appropriate vehicle/mobile equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
* Adheres to all safety protocol to include confined space entry, lock-out-tag-out, working at heights, wearing appropriate safety glasses, gloves and other personal protective equipment, as well as all OSHA, MSHA requirements.
* Diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment failures. Provide repair and maintenance to diesel and gasoline engines. Adjust and repair ignition, fuel, electrical, hydraulic and steering systems.
* Operates and inspects heavy equipment in order to diagnose defects.
* Diagnoses faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment such as computerized test equipment and calibration devices
* Dismantles and reassembles heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools
* Schedules maintenance for industrial machines and equipment, and keeps equipment service records.
* Reads and interprets manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
* Lubricate equipment. Maintain and repair tires, batteries, brakes and valves.
* Other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High School diploma/GED; The ideal candidate will possess an Associate's/Technical degree in an maintenance, automotive or a related field
Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of working on diesel engines and equipment
Required Technical Skills: Knowledge of processing methods and appropriate planning techniques. Proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Travel Requirements: Local travel throughout n/a.
Additional Requirements:
* Familiarity with haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment
* Good communication
* Able to operate Shop Tools, Air and Hydraulic Jacks, Grinders and Welders
* Strong ability to work self-directed.
* Demonstrated problem solving skills and sound decision making based upon available
* Flexible, able to adjust to changing priorities and propose improvement
