Medical Administrative Assistant
Medical transcriptionist job in Carmel, IN
Job Description
This Isn't Just a Job. It's a Calling.
At Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine, we believe exceptional care begins with exceptional people-people who know that behind every chart is a human life. Our work is complex, urgent, and often life-altering. And that's exactly why we don't settle for ordinary.
We are searching for a Medical Administrative Assistant who wants more than a desk job. This is one of the most critical roles in our organization-your presence, precision, and heart will directly shape the care we deliver to our patients and the rhythm of our neurosurgeons' work.
And the neurosurgeons at Goodman Campbell? They break every stereotype you've heard. They are deeply collaborative, quietly brilliant, and grounded in their passion for patients. They trust, respect, and rely on their support team. Here, you're not a gatekeeper or scheduler-you're a vital partner in their mission to save lives.
What You'll Do
You'll be the nerve center for one of our neurosurgeons, ensuring every patient experience-from the first call to the final follow-up-is seamless, compassionate, and human. You'll anticipate needs before they arise, bring clarity to chaos, and handle high-pressure moments with grace. You'll speak for the practice when others cannot.
What You Bring
A deep belief that what you do matters.
Fierce attention to detail and the ability to think two steps ahead to ensure the highest level of patient service.
The ability to connect with patients who may be facing the most frightening time of their lives-and make them feel seen, heard, and safe.
The communication chops to align physicians, patients, and staff in real time.
Emotional intelligence that shows up in every interaction.
At GCBS, you won't just support brain and spine surgeons. You'll help patients navigate some of the most critical moments of their lives-and you'll do it alongside a team that leads with empathy and purpose.
If you're ready to contribute to something larger than yourself, to be the calm in the storm, and to work with the kind of people who rewrite expectations-this is your place.
