Education: Graduated from an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
Experience: Experience in a clinical setting. Familiarity working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) helpful.
Language Skills: Bilingual: Spanish-English or English/Creole helpful ; Demonstrate the ability to effectively interpret medical terminology
Licensure / Certification : Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or in process of acquiring Certification, a plus. CPR certification required upon hire and recertification bi-annually

Room patient, take history, etc.
Assists providers with medical procedures.
Order, collect, and perform lab tests/orders.
Triage.
Scribing.
Clean, sanitize, stock, and organize exam rooms.
Complete compliance related to position.
Qualifications:
Experience in a medical office setting is preferred, dermatology experience is a plus.
EHR/EMR experience preferred, EMA/ModMed a plus.
Saturday availability (8am-1130am) is required and assigned on a rotating schedule. Typically not more than once a month.
