Travel Licensed Practical Nurse Long-Term Care Job
TLC Healthforce
No degree job in Meeker, CO
Step into a rewarding role as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Long-Term Care, where every shift offers meaningful moments with residents who rely on your compassion, skill, and steady presence. This is more than a job-it's a chance to shape everyday quality of life, build lasting relationships with families, and advance your expertise in a specialized field that honors dignity, comfort, and independence. As you bring attentive nursing care to each resident, you'll participate in a team that values detailed assessment, thoughtful care planning, and collaborative problem solving. Starting 01/19/2026 for a multi-week assignment, you'll have the opportunity to create continuity of care across days, evenings, and weekends, supporting residents through their health journeys and helping them maintain their best possible quality of life. And while you focus on patient care, you'll also have the chance to explore one of Colorado's most scenic corners and, depending on assignments, broaden your professional horizons across the U.S. From the sweeping vistas of the Flat Tops to crisp mountain air and vibrant small-town charm, Colorado offers beauty at every turn, and Meeker sits at the heart of it-a gateway to outdoor adventures, community connection, and a slower, more meaningful pace of life. Beyond the extraordinary outdoors, Colorado's communities invite you to experience cultural events, farmers markets, and local eateries that celebrate local flavors and friendly, welcoming neighbors.
Location benefits are central to this opportunity. Meeker, Colorado, is renowned for its scenic surroundings, clean air, and a close-knit community that values seniors and the care they deserve. You'll enjoy a setting where state-of-the-art facilities meet personal attention, creating an environment where your clinical judgment thrives and your empathetic approach makes a tangible difference every day. For nurses seeking broader exposure, the role also opens doors to assignments across diverse U.S. locations, offering the chance to broaden your clinical repertoire, master adaptable care plans, and grow your professional network. You'll find that in these settings, you're supported by a robust infrastructure designed for safe, efficient care delivery, with access to the resources you need to meet residents where they are-physically, emotionally, and clinically.
Role specifics and benefits. Your core responsibilities will center on delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within a long-term care setting. You'll perform essential tasks such as medication administration under appropriate supervision, wound care and dressing changes, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with activities of daily living to promote independence and comfort. You'll participate in regular charting, care planning meetings, and interdisciplinary rounds, collaborating with registered nurses, therapists, and CNAs to ensure each resident's goals are clearly defined and actively pursued. You'll assess patient status, identify potential complications early, and respond with informed, compassionate interventions that protect safety and well-being. In this role, there is abundant opportunity for professional growth: pursue certifications in geriatric or long-term care specialties, take on expanded duties through mentorship, or step into leadership or educator roles as you gain experience. The compensation package is competitive and designed to recognize your dedication, including a completion bonus and housing assistance to ease logistics as you travel. We also offer extension opportunities-contracts that align with both your personal plans and clinical interests-so you can continue to advance in a way that suits you, while maintaining continuity of care for residents who rely on your expertise. A cornerstone of our program is comprehensive support: you're never alone on assignment. We provide 24/7 support for traveling professionals, ensuring you have real-time assistance, access to resources, and rapid escalation paths whenever you need guidance or promotional opportunities within your travel journey.
Our company values are reflected in every aspect of the assignment. We are committed to empowering our staff, prioritizing career advancement, and cultivating a supportive work environment where you can thrive. You'll be part of a culture that respects clinical judgment, encourages ongoing learning, and celebrates achievements at every level-from daily bedside care to specialized certifications and leadership development. We understand that a nurse's well-being strengthens patient outcomes, which is why we emphasize a balanced approach to scheduling, a fair compensation structure, and proactive engagement with your professional goals.
Call to action. If you're a dedicated LPN ready to expand your expertise in long-term care, this is an exceptional opportunity to join a company that values your contribution and supports your growth every step of the way.
