Previous physical labor experience is required. What You'll Do: Walk through large properties and apply herbicides using a backpack spray system to control noxious weeds. Work in various terrains, including rocky, steep, and uneven landscapes. Mix and load herbicides in proper amounts for accurate application. Work independently and in a small crew to meet daily production goals. Follow work orders and instructions to ensure vegetation is managed properly. Keep simple but accurate records of herbicide applications. Occasionally, travel to job sites outside the immediate area as needed. What You Need to Apply: Must be at least 18 years old. Valid driver's license. Previous physical labor experience is required. Able to work in Rifle, Colorado. Experience in farming, ranching, construction, or other outdoor labor is preferred. Physically able to carry a 50 lb. backpack sprayer for extended periods. Able to work in the heat, cold, and other tough weather conditions.
