WHAT YOU'LL DO
Collaborate with participants to create self-directed goals to assist them in their path to recovery.
Support participants with educational, employment, and social related goals, benefit/medical resources, mental health and substance use services, budgeting skills and exploring housing options in accordance with their support plan.
Attend socialization activities, such as attending amusement parks, festivals, recovery learning centers, 12 step meetings, etc.
In collaboration with participants, create WRAP Plans and encourage the development of mental health advanced directives; facilitate peer support groups on participants' interests as needed.
Collaboratively document participant progress in the electronic health records system.
Other duties as assigned to fulfill MHP's mission.
Requirements:
Minimum of a High School or GED Diploma; Associates Degree in a Human Services related field is preferred.
Credentialed as a Certified Peer Specialist and certified through the PA Certification Board.
Within the last three (3) years, maintained at least 12 months of successful full or part-time paid or voluntary work experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of the local Mental Health System.
Must possess basic computer skills to perform job duties including desktop computing, e-mail, timesheet management, electronic health records, internet research, etc. and the ability to learn software applications relevant to your position.
Strong skillsets in oral and written communication, cultural competence, interpersonal relationships and teamwork, attention to detail, customer service, time management, autonomy, problem solving and organization.
Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines and billable unit requirements, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
Must possess a valid driver's license.

MHP is hiring an On-Call Outreach Specialist to engage and build relationships with individuals experiencing homelessness to provide those individuals with resources and placement at shelters, cafes or safe havens.
The position is located at located at 7200 Chestnut Street, Upper Darby, PA 19082. The role is on-call. Normal program operations are Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with a starting salary rate of $21.63/hour.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Using personal experiences to develop meaningful and trusting relationships with participants to build relationships with participants experiencing homelessness or economic insecurity with behavioral health needs.
Assists participants in identifying and accessing community resources for developing natural supports to increase their success in the community.
Connects participants to short term housing such as shelters, cafes or safe havens. Providing these services may require driving participants to various community-based establishments in a multi-passenger vehicle.
Provides de-escalation and crisis intervention services as needed.
Maintains compliance with all MHP policies and procedures. Reports known conduct taken by any MHP employee (including yourself) which violates any MHP policy or law on which you have been trained, or should know of, such as laws criminalizing theft or violent crimes, and reports the matter to management or to the Director - Quality Improvement & Compliance and/or Human Resources.
Other duties as assigned to fulfill MHP's mission.
Requirements
High School Diploma/GED preferred. Additional years of experience beyond the 2 year minimum will be considered in lieu of HSD/GED.
2 years of working with individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions and/or substance misuse.

Collaborate with participants to create self-directed goals to assist them in their path to recovery.

Demonstrated knowledge of the local Mental Health System.

The Residential Advisor monitors all participant activity, ensuring that the house operates smoothly during their shift and maintains a level of safety and security for the residents occupying their units. Populations served include participants with lived experience of homelessness, mental health conditions and/or addiction and who are in recovery. All positions are awake positions.
The Residential Advisor is a part time role located at 1305 East Oak Lane Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19126. The pay rate is $18.00 per hour. The successful candidate will work two 12 hour shifts every other weekend, 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM on Saturdays and Sundays.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide resources for participants in the areas of housing, medical, substance abuse, mental health, etc., to ensure that participants are actively adhering to treatment/progress plans.

Ensures the safety, security and well-being of participants through regular interaction with participants throughout shift.

Meets with participants to assess progress and develop interventions.
Checks regularly throughout the night on participants wellbeing (if night shift).
Accurately oversee the medication administration during each shift.
Prepare meals as necessary.
Ensures that all participants' visits are documented in EHR immediately.
Other duties as assigned to fulfill MHP's mission and vision.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED and one to two years of related work experience (including internships and volunteer work), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certified Peer Specialist certificate is preferred.
Must possess a medication monitoring training certificate or must have the ability to be trained in medication monitoring.
Must possess a valid driver's license.
Ability to operate 6 and 12 passenger van.
Must possess basic computer skills to perform job duties including desktop computing, email, time sheet management, electronic health records, using Microsoft Office Applications, and other relevant software
Must have basic electronic communication and internet skills.
