THE JOB:

THE STARTING RATE: $20.55
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
* Perform maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment across the property, completing assigned jobs and maintaining logbooks.
* Utilize power and hand tools effectively to carry out job assignments.
* Diagnose electrical and gas issues using tools such as amp meters, voltmeters, and pressure gauges.
* Read blueprints and wiring schematics to install and maintain electrical components.
* Maintain awareness of property layout, cleanliness, safety, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while informing the Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
* The candidate will have a high school diploma or a GED.
* They will possess at least 2 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar environment.
* The ideal candidate must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
* They should be well-rounded in maintenance skills, with experience in plumbing, mechanical work, electrical systems, and carpentry being a plus.
* The candidate must be willing to work both indoors and outdoors in extreme temperatures, including tasks that involve working on roofs, ladders, and lifts.
* They should feel comfortable around barn animals.

What you will do:
Six Flags Over Texas is looking for a dedicated, organized individual to join the Entertainment Technical Services Team. As an Entertainment Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with the load in and load out of various show products and equipment, running assigned tracks for stage productions and special events, assisting with the installation and maintenance of all sets, props, sound, lighting and video equipment as needed, and working closely with the Technical Services team and Production Staff on any technical services projects as assigned. This individual will also ensure the smooth and safe operation of the assigned shows and special events.
How you will do it:
Perform daily operational duties to assist the department in the running of assigned show tracks
Perform regular inspections of all scenic elements, audio and lighting systems, and special effects (fog machines)
Repair and correct any issues quickly and safely to ensure a safe guest and team experience
Assist the Technical Services team with new builds and repairs, load ins and load outs, system maintenance and other projects as assigned
Effectively communicate with Entertainment Technical Services Leadership on any issues or safety concerns as they arise
Operate various tools (including power tools), vehicles and equipment as assigned
Adhere to safe work practices and policies that promote a safe work culture for the department and park
Must be available to work weekends and all technical rehearsals, as assigned
Must be available to work extended hours during specific times of the year
Must be able to follow directions provided by the Technical Leadership team
What you will need:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must be able to work flexible hours on weekends during show and event operations as well as during tech rehearsals as needed
Previous technical experience in the Entertainment/ Theme Park Industry preferred
Must have some experience in carpentry, construction, or set building as well as some sound and/ or lighting experience
Should be proficient in the use of hand tools and various construction equipment or be able to learn quickly
Should have a basic knowledge of digital audio and lighting signal flow and be willing to learn the specific equipment used for each show and special event
Strong motivated team player with a strong ability to multi-task
Strong, verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work on projects independently as well as with a team
Must ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, park policies, and regulations
Must be able to move or lift tools or equipment weighing up to 50lbs
Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions
Should be able to work at heights of 20 feet or more and occasionally work at heights of up to 100 feet via catwalks, ladders and personnel lifts

Purpose of Classification
Performs technical work in support of assigned IT programs or communications function. Essential Functions

Runs weekly reports of service request/work order progress; copies and/or distributes reports; establishes and maintains both automated and manual accounting records and files; and performs record retention tasks as dictated by County policy.
Prepares, reviews, and processes purchasing documents. Maintains assigned inventory; prepares purchase orders for needed software, communications, materials, equipment, and supplies; receives and distributes incoming shipments; reviews and forwards for payment.
Prepares various department network documents requiring knowledge of department policies, programs, and procedures and which may involve researching, compiling, analyzing, retrieving and/or summarizing data.
Provides assistance and information to employees, managers, vendors, citizens, local businesses, and/or and other interested parties regarding assigned technology functions; serves as liaison between supervisors, vendors, and other departments in regards to purchasing policies and activities.

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED; supplemented by two (2) years of experience performing technical support and/or telecommunications work; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job. Associate's Degree in Computer Technology, Computer Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.

Proven experience leading global delivery teams, including offshore resources.
Demonstrated success in managing platform consolidation and integration initiatives in complex, post-acquisition environments.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across business and IT functions.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.

Utilities Technician
Maintains, inspects, and operates utility systems including but not limited to compressed air, process water, product water, and electrical distribution. Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment in all areas of the building related to utility rooms, pump rooms, electrical areas, and water farm areas.
Essential Functions
* Maintain compressed air systems and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance schedules, and operational data.
* Maintain electrical distribution and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance schedules, and operational data.
* Maintain process water and equipment including preventative maintenance tasks, preventive maintenance schedules, and operational data,

* Maintain filtration systems and perform filters changes as needed per equipment requirements.
* Perform CIP's on storage silos, filtering equipment and supply lines.

* Maintain and operate reverse osmosis equipment to include CIP's on membranes, monitoring instruments, and review of operational data and reports.
* Maintain air compressors and air dryers.
* Maintain cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangers, and pumps.
* Key contributor to ensuring overall plant safety, being an active advocate for team member safety, and key participant in safety investigations and improvement efforts.

Plant Maintenance - IV

Reporting to the Downtown O&M Manager, the Plant Maintenance Tech IV is responsible to provide ongoing operations and maintenance of the district cooling facilities in downtown Phoenix, while observing and complying with all safety requirements. The primary objective is to maintain plant chillers, distribution system, and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in maintenance activities at our Tempe cogeneration facility and remote plant locations.
Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Areas
Reviews and understands the operating and maintenance requirements of the main plant, remote plants, and distribution system.
Acquires bids and oversees contractors for maintenance and other services.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment as directed.
Complete all necessary logs, records, maintenance documentation, and plant paperwork as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by plant management (i.e., facility cleaning, customer heat exchangers, etc.).
Initiate work requests in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for plant equipment requiring maintenance and meet weekly with department manager to schedule, plan, and coordinate work.
Coordinate with operations lead for initiating LOTO's in computer-based program (Red Tag).
Attend daily meetings with Leads and Plant Management.
Interprets technical manuals, sketches, prints, instructions, manufacturer's data and equipment history records and incorporates the applicable information in developing work plans.
Identifies opportunities to improve O&M work processes and leads problem solving analysis when required to address issues and corrective actions while sharing lessons learned and best practices.
Plans and executes routine project maintenance and supports major maintenance and capital replacement projects.
Provides coordination between contractors, consultants, and material suppliers on plant projects.
Ensures that all safety policies and regulations are followed, and all daily work is executed in accordance with Cordia's safety policies. Performs pre-job briefs for critical work activities.
Ensures full compliance with all environmental regulations with a goal of zero exceedances, reportable spills or other violations.
Responsible for ordering and inventory management of spare parts and other plant supplies.
Must be prepared to respond to emergency callout 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Job Description
Reporting to the Downtown O&M Manager, the Plant Maintenance Tech IV is responsible to provide ongoing operations and maintenance of the district cooling facilities in downtown Phoenix, while observing and complying with all safety requirements. The primary objective is to maintain plant chillers, distribution system, and auxiliary equipment safely and efficiently. Assist in maintenance activities at our Tempe cogeneration facility and remote plant locations.
Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Areas
Reviews and understands the operating and maintenance requirements of the main plant, remote plants, and distribution system.
Acquires bids and oversees contractors for maintenance and other services.
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on plant equipment as directed.
Complete all necessary logs, records, maintenance documentation, and plant paperwork as required.
Perform other duties as assigned by plant management (i.e., facility cleaning, customer heat exchangers, etc.).
Initiate work requests in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for plant equipment requiring maintenance and meet weekly with department manager to schedule, plan, and coordinate work.
Coordinate with operations lead for initiating LOTO's in computer-based program (Red Tag).
Attend daily meetings with Leads and Plant Management.
Interprets technical manuals, sketches, prints, instructions, manufacturer's data and equipment history records and incorporates the applicable information in developing work plans.
Identifies opportunities to improve O&M work processes and leads problem solving analysis when required to address issues and corrective actions while sharing lessons learned and best practices.
Plans and executes routine project maintenance and supports major maintenance and capital replacement projects.
Provides coordination between contractors, consultants, and material suppliers on plant projects.
Ensures that all safety policies and regulations are followed, and all daily work is executed in accordance with Cordia's safety policies. Performs pre-job briefs for critical work activities.
Ensures full compliance with all environmental regulations with a goal of zero exceedances, reportable spills or other violations.
Responsible for ordering and inventory management of spare parts and other plant supplies.
Must be prepared to respond to emergency callout 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
Perform other duties as required.

Experience and Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of steady work experience, working with and chilled water equipment and water pumps.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Hands on maintenance and troubleshooting experience with chiller plants.
Have or the ability to get EPA section 609 universal refrigeration certificate.
Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge and experience in working with chilled water equipment and water pumps.
Ability to work in adverse climate conditions.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:
