The Data Scientist will be responsible to create product reliability models and advanced analytics that drive strategic decisions about product improvements. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Quality, Services, and IT, to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that address complex customer challenges. You should understand the impacts of environmental and other field conditions as they relate to product reliability. In this role, you should be able to apply mathematical and statistical methods to predict future field performance by building product reliability models using software tools. This Quality Control role partners with the product development and manufacturing operation teams to ensure high quality products are packaged for our customers. This is accomplished through ongoing review and project management of facility/line/equipment modification to improve the Right First Time performance of product mixing as well as through the daily testing and analysis of blended product. This role functions as part of the larger Technical team, ensuring that ITW Evercoat designs, makes, and distributes the highest quality products in our field.
