* Take incoming calls that are related to billing questions for services received at CRM.

Responsibilities*
* First point of contact for patients, families, and visitors to the ED, setting the tone of quality customer service for the duration of the guests' experience.
* Create new visit record in MiChart for each patient upon arrival to ED, performing detailed search to ensure error free process.

* Ensure effective team communication, internal and external by communication device distribution, attending pager assignments and nursing SANS assignments.

* Serve as resource to nursing regarding Patient Food & Nutrition Services. Order all patient and guest meal trays, ensuring accurate, timely delivery.
* Image pertinent medical documents into MiChart.
* Utilize various online systems to order supplies and equipment for all ED treatment areas through collaboration and communication with various support services and the ED clinical team.

The Walter P. Reuther Library of Wayne State University seeks applicants for the position of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Archivist. Reporting to the Reuther Library Director, the successful candidate will develop and maintain the collections of the archives for SEIU.
The archives for SEIU document the evolution of the union from its origins in1921 as the Building Service Employees International Union to the present. During its history, this union has organized service workers employed as custodians, healthcare workers, office workers, elevator operators, window cleaners, groundskeepers, doormen, and stadium employees, amongst others. The union currently organizes 2 million members in these and numerous other service industries.
The collaborative relationship between the Reuther Library and SEIU began in the early 1980s, and the Reuther Library became SEIU's official repository in 1992. Since then, the Reuther has collected the records of the union's international headquarters in Washington, D.C., union locals, and the personal papers of associated individuals.
This position is a full-time, externally-funded, 12-month, benefits-eligible appointment as Academic Staff, and an AAUP-AFT represented position with eligibility for promotion.
The successful candidate will be hired at the rank of Archivist I or II with a salary range from $60,000-$68,000 according to qualifications and experience. The Walter P. Reuther Library of Wayne State University seeks applicants for the position of Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Archivist. Reporting to the Reuther Library Director, the successful candidate will develop and maintain the collections of the archives for SEIU.
The archives for SEIU document the evolution of the union from its origins in1921 as the Building Service Employees International Union to the present. During its history, this union has organized service workers employed as custodians, healthcare workers, office workers, elevator operators, window cleaners, groundskeepers, doormen, and stadium employees, amongst others. The union currently organizes 2 million members in these and numerous other service industries.
The collaborative relationship between the Reuther Library and SEIU began in the early 1980s, and the Reuther Library became SEIU's official repository in 1992. Since then, the Reuther has collected the records of the union's international headquarters in Washington, D.C., union locals, and the personal papers of associated individuals.
This position is a full-time, externally-funded, 12-month, benefits-eligible appointment as Academic Staff, and an AAUP-AFT represented position with eligibility for promotion.
The successful candidate will be hired at the rank of Archivist I or II with a salary range from $60,000-$68,000 according to qualifications and experience. This is a majority in-person position based at the Walter P. Reuther Library.
Essential Functions:
Identify, select, and acquire SEIU archival collections, papers, and institutional records, in digital and physical formats;
Arrange and describe SEIU collections and create finding aids using ArchivesSpace;
Proactively collaborate with SEIU to advance the management of SEIU records, advise on records retention scheduling, preservation, and transfer, and serve as their main contact for reference.
May include occasional travel to SEIU's international and affiliate offices regarding their records program and related projects;
Provide reference services and serve as primary contact for inquiries from the general public regarding SEIU archival materials;
Coordinate promotion and access of SEIU collections, and develop resources to support research;
Opportunity to supervise student and intern work in support of SEIU projects;
Participate in shared decision-making for Library planning, resource management, and program and policy development;
Represent the Library through active participation in professional associations and University committees;
Participate in Reading Room services;

DO or MD License in Michigan, Board Eligible or Board Certified in urological surgery.

Summary of Health Risks
Exposure to human blood, serum, tissue and other body fluids; and materials covered under Universal Precautions. TB risk or work within 3 feet of human patients in a health care setting or have potential exposure to animals or to specimens with Mycobacterium. Risks that have been identified by Environmental Health and Safety, such as exposure to chemotherapy, formaldehyde, etc.
Department Statement
The Department of Osteopathic Surgical Specialties includes full-time, part-time and clinical faculty who contribute towards education, research, and clinical aspects of the surgical specialties. These include the divisions of anesthesiology, general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology (clinical and surgical), and urological surgery. The department trains osteopathic students for the practice of medicine and surgery by developing college curriculum through the organization of classroom, hospital, clinic, and specialty programs that provide the highest quality education and role modeling. We are committed to developing and assisting in quality research programs, as well as in community health services and continuing medical educational programs that serve the profession, the medical community at large, and the public to improve the quality of health services for all.
