As a **Facilities Water Services Technician Intern** , you will gain a basic knowledge of the semiconductor water purification and waste treatment process. Interns will be exposed to new technology and the equipment we use to facilitate the manufacturing of the world's leading memory solutions! Interns receive on-the-job training that includes safety and cleanroom protocol, preventative and corrective maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and our ongoing improvement programs. Department Introduction Micron's Applications Engineering team ensures seamless integration of DRAM products into customer systems by validating performance, reliability, and compatibility. We collaborate across engineering teams and with external partners to develop world-class memory solutions for next-generation platforms. Position Overview As a DRAM Applications Engineer Intern, you will support the validation and integration of Micron's DRAM products into customer systems. This role offers hands-on experience in system-level testing, failure analysis, and automation development, while working closely with multi-functional teams to ensure product readiness and quality. Responsibilities * Assist in early validation of DRAM products on next-generation processors. * Conduct system-level failure analysis, characterization, and qualification. * Run stress tests and design experiments to evaluate DRAM behavior. * Analyze and interpret data, debug failures, and develop diagnostic tools. * Collaborate with internal teams (Product Engineering, RMA, Application Engineering) and external partners. * Support automation of system-level testing and validation strategies. * Communicate findings and technical insights to collaborators. Minimum Qualifications * Currently pursuing a BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. * Strong understanding of computer architecture and memory operation. * Familiarity with DRAM circuits, layout, and simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys). * Experience with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators. * Proficiency in Python, Linux, SQL; C# or Golang is valuable. * Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. * Passion for innovation and collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications * Prior internship or research experience in memory or logic circuit design. * Exposure to semiconductor manufacturing or product integration. * Hands-on experience with layout tools and verification methodologies. * Knowledge of system-level testing and electrical failure analysis. Internship Details * Duration: Typically 3-6 months (Summer or Fall cycles). * Paid internship with relocation support if applicable. * Opportunities to work on real-world projects and present findings.
