Performance and Scalability Engineering Lead will evaluate system performance and provide recommendations for improvements. Analyze root causes of performance problems and develop appropriate resolutions. Define, architect, develop and Conduct system performance and stress testing, analyze test results and suggest action plans. Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs for performance efficiency.

Performance Lead
You MUST have at least 5 years of active and recent Performance and scalability engineering experience with system performance optimization and tooling for performance metrics from servers and software modules. You have to be comfortable as a consultant, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
You will participate in building up consulting practice for performance and scalability engineering. You will also be involved in pre-sales, marketing activities, consulting assessments and delivery.
Technical Requirements:
SQA in load and performance engineering experience (5 plus years)
JMeter and Blazemeter experience is a must have.
Strong Performance Test automation experience with one of the following LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, WireShark or open source tool like JMeter.
Strong in Perl, Python, Shell or VB scripting preferable
Programming knowledge with one of C, C++, Java or any other programming languages is required
Basic knowledge of SQL and/or any RDBMS
Strong knowledge of HTTP and other Web Protocols. Ability to script tests, by getting into the protocol details
Ability to work with Linux, basic monitoring commands, access commands and shell scripting
Experience with application performance management systems like wily, app dynamics etc.
Strong understanding of basic DB tuning, application server tuning and common issues around performance and scalability.
Awareness to Software Development and Testing lifecycle
Strong communication and problem solving skills desired
Well versed with Internet technologies and infrastructure
Outstanding written and oral communication Skills
BS/MS in Computer Science or related field

Define performance scenarios based on the project requirements
Create test data requirements, visualize and create performance test environment.
Provide thought leadership on performance methodology, planning, activities and deliverables.
Script tests, execute them, produce results and help analyze bottlenecks working cross functionally with business, engineering and support.
Drive performance with architects, developers and help iterative performance enhancement.
