Job Description
The District Manager is responsible for the successful operations of 8 store locations in the Anaheim and LA area. Responsibilities include the workforce planning, hiring, training, counseling, developing storemanagers and retention of teammates to ensure the district financial goals are achieved. The District Manager sets accountability and expectations for teammates on the company standards, policies and procedures, and develops an environment which is conducive to accomplishing both the company and teammate personal goals. Pay: $90,000-$125,000 including incentives. Pay is based on experience. This role is eligible for additional incentives company vehicle with gas card and cell phone stipend.
Essential Functions:
Develop StoreManagers to become culture change leaders who produce a consistent 5-star Guest experience
Ensure assigned locations (districts) are staffed in accordance with company workforce planning standards that ensure staffing matches demand
Responsible for hiring, training, and developing of all storemanagement and minimizing turnover
Train, develop and lead StoreManagers and Manager trainees on store operations, sales, product knowledge, and service techniques
Manage budget and capital expenses to exceed objectives
Manage budget to maximize profit potential of the district; develop recovery plans to address shortcomings as needed
Conduct and document store visit cadence (every store at least once per quarter) which includes tracking action items and communicating follow-up expectations to the StoreManager
Assure all required documents/processing/reporting, company policies, safety, regulations, and standards are met throughout the district
Train, monitor, and ensure company safety and security standards are enforced to provide a work-safe environment
Communicate effectively and professionally with Store Support Center teammates to include Executive Management, Marketing, Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, and other departments as required
Maintain knowledge of local market competitors, automotive industry, and new developments
Manage district inventory within company established standards and policies
Complete all Monro University required training with the guidelines and timing provided
Perform other duties as assigned
Management Responsibility:

About the Role:
The StoreManager position is a salaried role. The StoreManager provides daily leadership to all positions within the store to include General Service Technicians, Technicians, Guest Care Specialists, and Assistant StoreManager. Reporting to the District Manager, the StoreManager is responsible for providing the day-to-day leadership to the store and teammates, including selecting, coaching, and developing store teammates. Responsibilities:
Develop sales and technical teammates to produce a consistent 5-star Guest experience.

Job Summary:
The General Manager (GM) directs and manages the overall daily operations and success of one retail/automotive service store. The GM adheres to company guidelines and goals to obtain optimum efficiency, professionally develop their staff, and maximize profit by performing the duties listed below.
Job Description:
Open and/or close the store, maintain a clean and attractive store appearance, and ensure store and equipment maintenance is performed through vendors and staff.
Interview and acquire staff based on store needs, ensure all employees are properly trained on the job and certified within required timeliness.
Manages staff by assigning work posts, scheduling work hours, evaluating job performance, and provides disciplinary actions including terminations when necessary.
Responsible for financial performance. The GM looks for opportunities to grow the business and improve profitability, customer retention, and net sales.
Manage cash and credit card activities, reconcile register receipts and cash charge slips, and makes bank deposits.
Prepare paperwork associated with cash receipts, sales statistics, employee records, etc.
Monitors inventory levels to prevent shrinkage, orders and receives supplies.
Direct and participate, as needed, in customer service functions such as greet customers, explain products and services offered, resolve/handle customer complaints, and operate point of sale hardware and software.
Direct and participate, as needed, in automotive maintenance services along with Technicians, and drive automatic and manual transmissions.
Enforce all safety lifesaving rules as well as all the safety guidelines established, maintain compliance with OSHA and Federal and State Environmental Regulations.
Report any workers' compensation claims.
Other duties as assigned by District Manager.
Requirements
Valid US Driver's License.
Minimum of 1 year of prior Retail Service Management experience in relevant field (Automotive, Fast Food, Retail Sales, etc.).
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Prior Experience with Key Performance Indicators in retail sales growth.
Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
Ability to calculate figures and manage budgets.
Ability to communicate in English (written and orally).
Efficiently use the internet, computers, and complete documents on tracking forms
Able to stand for an extended period.
Ability to (occasionally) lift over 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crawl, and climb stairs.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Comfortable working in an enclosed and/or semi-outdoor environment.
Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail, dependability, and professional demeanor.
Proven leader with an interest in the professional development of their team.
Dedication to following safety policies and procedures.
Willingness to undergo on the job training and a growth mindset.
