Essential Job Functions and Duties Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are met and inspect facility conditions and equipment performance. Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment. Adhere to all safety requirements, including personal protective equipment (PPE), preventing and reporting unsafe acts and conditions, and following lockout-tagout procedures and process safety management guidelines. Perform emergency repairs, requiring the ability to troubleshoot promptly and effectively. Qualifications High School Diploma/GED, trade school, vocational, or advanced technical training. May include a combination of on-the-job, informal, and formal training. 10+ years' experience in industrial manufacturing or skilled trades. Fully understands the theory, practical knowledge, and skills to function as a master-level mechanic safely and successfully. Skill certification required.
