This position is responsible for providing direct patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse according to the scope of practice of nursing assistants. You will:
Provides designated comfort measures and general hygiene for patients, including bathing, oral care, and linen change, provided in an appropriate and safe manner
Contributes to the planning process by communication of appropriate information in a timely and accurate manner to the RN
Accurately obtains/reports/documents vital signs (VS), intake & output (I&O), weights, and other patient data as assigned.
Assist Physician/RN with procedures when needed
Transports patients or items to or from different departments and accurately records patient items and/or information to be transferred.
