A Probation Officer, under the general direction of the District Court Chief Probation Officer, directly supervises adult offenders sentenced to probation by the District Court. This employee is responsible for providing casework services, monitoring offender progress that includes coordinating and enforcing rehabilitation services in an effort to reduce recidivism.
