About the Role:
Join the dynamic guest service team at My Place Hotel as a NightAuditor! In this key role, you'll be the go-to person for all guest needs during the night shift, handling everything from reservations and check-ins to addressing guest inquiries. What You'll Do:
Guest Services: Provide a warm, welcoming experience for all guests. Handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and accurately record charges for rooms, taxes, My Store purchases, and pet fees according to policy.
Guest Assistance: Address guest questions, concerns, and complaints with comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, amenities, and local attractions, including restaurants, shopping, attractions, and churches.
Night Audit & Paperwork: Complete the Night Audit Checklist, manage cash logs, call logs, and maintain all necessary paperwork. Keep the Front Desk Log updated and review previous shift logs at the start of each shift.
Cleaning & Laundry: Perform some cleaning duties, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring the front desk, lobby, and housekeeping areas are tidy and well-stocked.
Safety & Security: Adhere to all safety and security protocols, regularly inspect the property, ensure exterior doors are secure, and report any potential hazards.
Learning & Growth: Take on additional responsibilities as needed and be on call for any hotel requirements.

POSITION SUMMARY: The NightAuditor is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate recording of property revenues. Prepares for next day business while creating an excellent first impression for the guests of Oxford Collection of hotels while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: All duties and responsibilities of this position are to be performed with exceptional caring and genuine guest service upholding the Oxford Collection of hotels standards and culture at all times.
Administration (60%):
Verifying and posting charges to guest accounts if needed, verifying room rates match posting details, and verifying that charges are posted to the correct departments
Complete all reports generated by RoomKey and distribute them to appropriate departments
Ensure direct billings are posted to the general ledger timely, including meeting room charges
Perform full system backups and assign wake-up calls
Performs accurate month-end processing, reporting any discrepancies to the property management team
Maintain awareness of room inventory at all times
Report guest incidents to the property management team
Accurately count and manage bank transactions, reporting any discrepancies to management
Run audit reports/journals from the front office system, Point of Service, and the computer
Make corrections and adjustments and handle all computer problems that might occur throughout the shift
Balance all revenue and settle accounts nightly, maintain files, and reset the system for next day operations
Enter all maintenance issues and requests into the maintenance tracking system

Guest Services (30%):
Assist guests with arrival and departure from hotel, including occasional bell or valet assistance as needed, while providing positive guests experiences.
Always provide a high level of customer service, taking time with our guests to ensure every aspect of their stay is up to expectations
Register guests, verify registration details, and manage key control
Respond to guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns, ensuring optimal levels of guest satisfaction and repeat business
Provide information about the hotel, rooms, amenities, packages and promotions in addition to local area offerings and events
Maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information
Remain available to guests at all times at the front desk

Responsibilities
Perform after-hours and early morning check-in and check-out tasks
Manage online and phone reservations, upselling additional facilities and services when appropriate
Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data
Register guests, collecting necessary information, such as contact details and exact dates of their stay
Welcome guests upon their arrival and assign rooms
Respond to guests complaints in a timely and professional manner
Ensure customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and providing guests services where needed
Coordinate with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests needs
Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees
Provide information about our hotel, such as available rooms, rates and amenities
Maintain updated records of bookings and payments
Audit daily and nightly reports
Balance the cash drawer and log receipts
Investigate and resolve out-of-balance accounts
Keep accurate financial records and ledgers
Ensure the overnight safety and security of the hotel
Prepare for the next business day, including restocking supplies, and other duties as assigned
Skills
Work experience as a NightAuditor, Front Desk Agent, Receptionist or similar role
Experience with hotel reservations software, such as Infor or RoomKeyPMS preferred
Understanding of how travel planning websites operate, like Booking.com and TripAdvisor
Strong customer service and problem solving skills
Knowledge of safety and security procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Availability to work overnight

The NightAuditor works as a Guest Service Representative and member of the Front Desk Team specifically responsible for auditing all revenue transactions, ensuring reports are accurate, credit card batches are transmitted correctly and cash is secured. Serves as acting Manager on Duty in the case of an incident or
emergency. Conducts property inspections to ensure safety protocols are in effect. Exercises good judgment and able to effectively resolve guest situations. Exceed guests' expectations while assisting in all Front Desk related functions to include the check-in/out process, reservations and all other guest inquiries.
QUALIFICATIONS:

About the Role:
Join the dynamic guest service team at My Place Hotel as a NightAuditor! In this key role, you'll be the go-to person for all guest needs during the night shift, handling everything from reservations and check-ins to addressing guest inquiries. If you're an organized, dependable multi-tasker with a positive attitude and a strong knowledge of the local area, we want you on our team!
What You'll Do:
Guest Services: Provide a warm, welcoming experience for all guests. Handle reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and accurately record charges for rooms, taxes, My Store purchases, and pet fees according to policy.
Guest Assistance: Address guest questions, concerns, and complaints with comprehensive knowledge of the hotel, amenities, and local attractions, including restaurants, shopping, attractions, and churches.
Night Audit & Paperwork: Complete the Night Audit Checklist, manage cash logs, call logs, and maintain all necessary paperwork. Keep the Front Desk Log updated and review previous shift logs at the start of each shift.
Cleaning & Laundry: Perform some cleaning duties, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, and ensuring the front desk, lobby, and housekeeping areas are tidy and well-stocked.
Safety & Security: Adhere to all safety and security protocols, regularly inspect the property, ensure exterior doors are secure, and report any potential hazards.
Learning & Growth: Take on additional responsibilities as needed and be on call for any hotel requirements.
