INFANT NANNY NEEDED FULL-TIME IN ST. PAUL!
Nanny job in Saint Paul, MN
SAINT PAUL, MN (LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED) --Warm and welcoming first-time parents near downtown Saint Paul seek a knowledgeable, experienced, and nurturing FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY to care for their four-month-old daughter. This is a long-term position ideal for a nanny who is passionate about early childhood development and is excited to partner with first-time parents.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility around Fridays if needed. The family is offering $30+/hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Paid sick days, holidays, and vacation are included in the benefits package. While they strongly prefer a local candidate, they are open to out-of-state applicants and willing to offer relocation assistance for the right fit.
This is a live-out position only. The family has one friendly cat in the home. Their home has easy access to public transportation and is walking distance to several parks, restaurants, shops, and the nearby children's museum. They would love a nanny who enjoys exploring the city and taking the baby on age-appropriate outings.
Responsibilities focus entirely on the baby and include everything related to her care: bottle washing, infant laundry, tidying up after herself and the baby, maintaining a clean and stimulating environment, and supporting the child's sleep, motor, language, sensory, cognitive, social, and emotional development. The family will provide a family vehicle for any outings or errands related to the baby.
The ideal candidate has extensive infant experience, is proactive and confident in guiding new parents through the early months, and can offer support around developmental milestones. A background in education or a strong understanding of early childhood development is highly valued. Bonus points for Greek-speaking candidates!
Both parents work from home in separate, dedicated office spaces and deeply value open communication, mutual respect, and a collaborative relationship with their nanny. After-School Nanny
Nanny job in Minneapolis, MN
A bit about us:
We are a blended, close-knit family of five kids who treat each other like true siblings. Our home is active, energetic, and filled with humor, music, and plenty of personality. We value kindness above all else and teach our children to treat others the way they want to be treated. We love having fun, staying active, and enjoying the beautiful creek area where we bike, run, and walk our dogs. We're looking for someone who truly wants to be part of our family. Someone who values collaboration, inclusivity, and partnership. We work hard and play hard, and we aim to model those values for our children and the people who join our home.
A bit about you:
You are someone who engages with each child's unique personality and knows how to bring out the best in them. You are organized, capable of managing a busy household, and reliable. We trust you to be present, dependable, and fully focused on the children. You are passionate about working with kids and confident in your experience, bringing a strong, grounded presence to the role. Flexibility is important, as our home can be lively and schedules may shift. You stay calm under pressure, adapt easily, and help reinforce structure through playdates and daily routines.
Job Duties:
Everyday will be a bit different based on which children are present for care. Some days you may have all 5, others just 2 or 3, and a few days each month, no children will be in the home. Our standard schedule every two weeks is as follows: Week 1 - Mon/Tues (2 kids), Wed/Thurs (3 kids), Fri (5 kids). Week 2 - Mon/Tues (no kids), Wed/Thurs (5 kids), Fri (no kids). Standard daily responsibilities include picking the children up from school. School ends daily at 2:45 p.m. and on some days, due to after school extracurriculars, the kids are to be picked up at 4pm. Routine would be as follows: Calm transition home into the afternoon. You'll support them with chores, homework, and getting them to and from other activities. This would mean, a light snack and/or even prepping an early dinner before pickups would be ideal. We focus on setting routine with the kids and they thrive on that and with participating in that, such as helping prep snacks, etc. We also have 3 dogs that the children help to care for, such as feeding them dinner, picking up the outside and taking them for walks. We walk them through the after school routine and discuss who will do what. Our Hearth will be set up to eliminate the guessing game and further assistance with continuity. Additional duties include assisting them with their laundry (transition from school to play) and helping them get organized for the following day (outfits set and ready to go, backpacks and sporting bags set and ready to go, additional clothes based on weather (snow boots, hats, gloves, etc). We ask that you leave the home in better shape than you found it, maintaining a tidy and orderly environment. On the days when there aren't children in the home, we would love for the nanny to help with global resets of the home, such as grocery shopping, changing bedsheets, laundry, etc. We have cleaners that come every other week on Thursdays during the day. So the wednesday before, assistance in helping get set for the cleaners is ideal.
Position Highlights: 15 hours a week guaranteed
Qualifications: Responsible, reliable, engaging, and organized
Set yourself apart: Someone who is sporty, as the children are into many different sports!
Schedule: Starting as soon as the right fit is identified on Monday-Friday from 2:45-6 pm. Going until at least the end of the school year with the opportunity to flex into the summer and the following school year.
How to Apply: Apply Here; email [email protected] or text "nanny" to ************ to start the process!
Pay: Starting at $22/hour
**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
*Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time. This family is following these recommended guidelines cautiously and conservatively and expect the caregiver to do the same to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
