Natco Products Corporation company history timeline

1963

In 1963, a conglomerate, Monogram Industries, Inc. of Los Angeles, CA acquired National Screw and continued all of the operations as a subsidiary company.

1966

In 1966, National Screw established Natco as a warehousing division for the distribution of its standard fasteners primarily to the hardware markets.

1967

In January 1967, National Screw purchased Southwest Bolt & Nut Co. of St Louis, MO, which was then used as a base to expand the Natco division.

1972

Patricia O’Neill joined the Natco family in 1972.

1976

In 1976, Natco Fasteners was established by Monogram Industries, a Los Angeles-based conglomerate, as a warehousing division to distribute fasteners for National Screw & Manufacturing.

1983

Otto Reidl has been our only president since Monogram sold Hodell in 1983.

1984

In 1984, Monogram Industries was acquired by another conglomerate, Nortek Inc., and near year-end in 1984, Nortek sold the Natco division to the same Cleveland investors that purchased Hodell.

1986

Mike Lamboy came to Natco Cleveland with the acquisition of North Ohio Bolt & But in 1986 and brought with him a dozen years of experience.

1988

In 1988 the company inaugurated a Parenterals manufacturing facility at Nagarajuna Sagar Telangana.

Mike Sidick joined our operations in 1988 having brought with him almost twenty-five years of experience.

1991

Established in 1991, NATco’s experience comes from its roots in Argentina, Pentars, a company with over 50 years of experience.

1994

The company was converted into a public limited company and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated 30 December 1994 was issued by the RoC Andhra Pradesh.

1995

On 1 April 1995 Natco Parenterals Limited Natco Laboratories Limited and Doctor Karanth Pharma Labs Private Limited merged with Natco Pharma.

1997

In 1997 Natco Pharma inaugurated Natco Research Center (NRC) at Sanathnagar Hyderabad.

2003

In 2003 Natco Pharma launched its Oncology division with introduction of flagship brand VEENAT (generic Imatinib Mesylate) for the treatment of chronic myelogenous leukemia.

2006

In 2006 Natco Pharma inaugurated a world class finished dosage facility at Dehradun Uttarakhand.

2007

In 2007 Natco Pharma launched its first abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) in the US market.

2008

During the year the company acquired Savemart Pharmacy in USA.In 2008 Natco Pharma filed its first Paragraph IV filing in the US market.

2009

In 2009 Natco Pharma's turnover reached $100 million milestone.

2011

In 2011 Natco Pharma and Levomed LLC USA formed a joint venture company Natcofarma Do Brasil for sales and distribution in Brazil.

2012

In 2012 Natco Pharma won the first ever compulsory license from Bayer for its patent-protected anti-cancer drug Nexavar in India.

2013

In 2013 Natco Pharma established a subsidiary Natco Pharma Canada for sales and distribution in Canada.

2017

On 2 January 2017 Natco Pharma announced that it has launched the first generic version of Sofosbuvir 400mg/Velpatasvir 100mg fixed dose combination in Nepal.

2021

At 1.79 million, demat accounts opened in June fewest since Feb 2021
