Alejandra Argudin is the Chief Executive Officer for the Miami Parking Authority (MPA), the largest parking agency in the State of Florida. She has worked at MPA for 13 years, of which her first four were overseeing the Planning and Development Department. She is currently responsible for the agency which manages over 46,000 spaces, with 160+ employees and an operating budget of over $40 million. In 2015, through her leadership, the MPA was one of only five organizations that obtained the Accredited Parking Organization (APO) designation from the International Parking Institute (IPI) and in 2016, they were one of only two organizations to receive the APO with Distinction. Alejandra is a graduate of Florida International University with a B.A. in Business Administration and a Master’s in Business Administration. In keeping with her desire to always be a vanguard within her industry, she earned the Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) designation through IPMI as well as acquired her LEED AP designation from the Green Building Council. She currently serves on IPMI’s Executive Board and as a Executive Board Member of the WOW Center.
