We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Analyst to support a state agency's workforce initiative to expand Unemployment Insurance (UI) Account Numbers from 6 to 9 digits. This role will be critical in validating the integrity, performance, and security of modified legacy systems, ensuring that all changes meet acceptance criteria and regulatory standards.
· Collaborate with developers and business analysts to design and execute test plans for COBOL, CICS, DB2, and batch components.
· Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT) across multiple environments.
· Automate test cycles using tools such as 3270 emulator software and IBM InfoSphere Optim Test Data Management Solution.
· Compare test results between legacy and updated systems to validate consistency and correctness.
· Document test cases, results, defects, and resolutions.
· Coordinate with client stakeholders to align testing efforts with project milestones and deployment schedules.
· Ensure testing environments are properly configured and maintained.
· Support the final go/no-go decision process through comprehensive test reporting and validation.
**Pay Rate:** _This is a contract position contingent upon project needs, with a compensation range of $72-$77 per hour. Please note that this role is_ **_not_** _eligible for Nelnet's benefits package._
**EDUCATION:**
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and/or commensurate experience.
**EXPERIENCE:**
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing roles.
+ Strong understanding of mainframe systems and testing methodologies.

Salary range for the position: $32,919 - $90,000 per year. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The Institutional Risk Officer is a senior position in IIS responsible for a wide variety of supervisory, compliance, and risk functions. The Institutional Risk Officer has accountability for maintaining a consistent controlled environment through adherence of business ethics and practices and adherence to all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and Fund Services policies, and other regulations. Role Responsibilities
Surveillance and Supervision
• Primary responsibility for all risk, supervisory, and compliance functions for one or more groups of Support personnel and multiple MFO clients

• Liaises with the Legal and Compliance Division with customer complaints and litigation
• Ensures appropriate supervisory coverage is maintained at all times
• Oversees responsibilities outlined in the Branch Supervisory Manual, as well as new policies to ensuring the Branch has procedures in place
• Supports in the preparation for and response to audits, and ensures that any audit findings are appropriately responded to and remediated
• Works with Senior Institutional Risk Officer to monitor people risk, and ensures appropriate action is taken
• In partnership with the Portfolio Manager, responsible for proactive client contact in determining suitability and managing risk
• Primary source for intelligence on risk in regard to clients and personnel
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education or experience
5-10 years of experience in the financial, consulting, or banking industry
Active Series 7, 8 (or 9 and 10), and 63, 65 (or 66)

Responsibilities
The Digital Distribution Analyst will work with the digital distribution team to support our API portfolio to ensure our APIs meet business needs and are effectively integrated into our partners systems. They will work with both internal and external stakeholders to understand requirements, onboard partners, document processes and specifications, and troubleshoot issues related to API functionality and performance.
This role is most focused on understanding business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions that align with business goals. Then working with our API integrated trading partners to implement and optimize integrations.
API Integration and Testing: Work with development teams to integrate APIs into partner systems, ensuring functionality and performance meet requirements. Perform integration testing and troubleshoot issues throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Troubleshooting and Support: Investigate and resolve issues within our API integrations providing support to internal and external users and development teams.
API Management and Improvement/ Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve APIs, including performance, onboarding, maintenance, usability, and testing. Maintain existing integrations, troubleshooting issues and implementing necessary updates.
Collaboration and Communication: Work with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and QA teams internally and externally. Strong written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate problems, and work effectively with others to generate solutions, and achieve a shared goal.
API Documentation: Create and maintain business documentation for APIs including process documentation and troubleshooting guides. Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration requirements, including data mapping, workflows, and SOPs.

Qualifications

The Network Security Department implements the security strategy required to build secure infrastructure enabling rapid introduction and adoption of both new product capabilities and integrated security solutions.
