Cleaver-Brooks is looking for an IFS Systems Administrator to join our corporate IT in Thomasville, GA (remote candidate based in the United States will also be considered). The IFS Systems Administrator is focused on the delivery of IT solutions and systems to various business units throughout organization with emphasis on the IFS ERP system for both support and projects. This position will work closely with the rest of the ERP team, key business stakeholders, and others within IT in order to help enhance, automate, and support existing systems and review current system capabilities, workflow, and limitations.
Essential Duties:
Drive activities around environment management, including communication related to outages, downtime, access, and availability spanning multiple projects.
Ensure user license compliance and user provisioning best practices and cost reductions through optimization recommendations.
Provide operations and support, system maintenance and research to ensure continual innovation and predictable operations of the solution.
Monitor systems, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
Review system logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs for KPI and optimization opportunities.
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems.
Design, architect, develop ERP solutions based on business requirements.
Analysis of business processes and systems.
Develop and support integrations between the ERP and other systems.
Creation and execution of test plans.
Documentation of solutions.
Communication of deliverables.
Supporting Help Desk tickets, projects, and Change Management processes.
Consult with internal customers to understand and document their requirements.
Troubleshoot user application issues, identify, and report software faults.
Test, document and coordinate the installation of changes according to approved business requirements.
Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively interface with others inside and outside the Company as required.
Develop, document and revise work instructions, test procedures, and quality standards, utilizing the Click Learn documentation system.
Provide training to end users for newly released functionality and new system releases.
Proficient in IFS data migrations.
Oracle PL/SQL experience with knowledge of IFS Oracle database model.
Keep up to date with IFS updates, releases and improvements and communicate suggested steps to add value to the business.
Experience as the technical lead for an IFS implementation or buildup.
IFS System Administration
Work to ensure the reliable performance of the IFS ERP system.
Suggest improvements to standardize and/or improve Application and database performance.
Coordinate the testing and installation of system software patches and releases.
Manages and maintains the non-production system for testing purposes.
Creation and modifications of APIs, IALs and Procedures to function within IFS.
Use PL/SQL to create custom triggers, events, and processes.
Develop and support integrations between IFS and other applications.
