SERVICE & INSTALL: Assemble control panels and build system programs; Install low voltage cabling and electronic system components; Troubleshoot systems to the component level to identify equipment necessary for repairs; Inspect and test fire alarm and other electronic systems
KEEP TO CODE: Ensure that projects are compliant with local, state, federal, and district codes, regulations, and specifications; Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely fashion
PUT SAFETY FIRST: Adhere to OSHA, customer, and safety protocols while on site; utilize safety best practices when lifting, moving, or pushing heavy materials and while climbing, balancing, and maneuvering on the job site

Salary Range: The full pay range for this role is $XX to $XX per hour. The target range for this position is $XX to $XX per hour. Scope of Job: Under specific direction from the Sr Mgr - Composite Repair Services, maintains assets, including but not limited to internal and external inspections, repair of fiberglass and composite blades, spinners, and nacelles from Category 1 through Category 5. Expected to travel for extended periods of time working on EDF Renewable Energy projects as needed. When not traveling, will be based at the assigned home site and will be directed by the Site Manager for that site. While traveling on behalf of EDF Renewable Energy/Renewable Services, you are expected to represent our organization and our core values at all times.
Required Training: Each Renewable Energy Technician will attend mandatory five (5) week training and certification course at the start of their employment. The exact duration will be determined based on experience and qualifications. The training is in Albert Lea, MN, and travel, accommodation, and expenses will be provided.

20% Inspect and photograph internal and external blade damage using blade card, document findings, and assemble all associated paperwork as required to be posted for further action by Engineering Dept.
20% Perform composite repairs on internal and external blade surfaces, leading and trailing edge repair while following guidelines provided in Work Instructions.
20% Provide wind turbine generator LOTO (Lock Out & Tag Out) support as required. Perform “status” checks including clearing “error” codes on turbines and repairing the problems
20% Utilize blade access platforms, boom trucks, and rope access at heights of 300ft or more
15% May assist with or perform basic quality audits of less experienced staff and 3
rd
party customer work.
5% Communicate site status to the back-office Management & Local Customer Site Personnel as well.
Working Conditions: Composite Technicians spend 100% of their time in the field, excluding safety; Manager and scheduled training exercises. Technicians work in teams and are provided a company vehicle (service truck) in which they carry the required tools and parts necessary to perform repairs and/or maintenance on turbines in multiple wind fields on any given day. Generally, Service Technicians work in extreme weather conditions.

Qualifications:
Completed EDF-RS Composite Key Fundamentals Training.
Has acquired 8 or more hours of on the job training by a Senior or Advanced Composite Repair Technician.
Documented all knowledge and skills gained from EDF-RS internal and external blade training on form OM-13-5 101.
Inspection and reporting of uncomplicated surface damage.
Perform small cosmetic repairs that do not affect the blades profile and structure for a minimum 1 blade repair season under the supervision of a Senior or Advanced Composite Repair Technician such as:
Surface repairs in the paint and gel-coat layer less than 3ft2.
Leading edge repairs that do not affect the blades profile up to 40 inches in length
Aid in the LPS function test.
Education/Experience
2 year related experience or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completed Abaris Wind Blade Repair R-5 /Abaris Advanced tooling Repair
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Successfully complete applicable safety and technical training program for the entry level wind technician.
Able to demonstrate some basic computer knowledge.
Able to follow both verbal and written instructions.
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsible for inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a variety of machinery and equipment to include engines, motors, tools, parts (hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc.), plumbing, conveyor systems, etc. to ensure optimum performance of machines and associated equipment.
**Primary Duties /Responsibilities:**
+ Troubleshoot mechanical devices and repair.
+ Repair and/or replace functional parts of control instruments and mechanical devices and interpret instructions and diagrams in correcting existing problems.
+ Maintain appropriate records on completed work performed and forwards logs along with findings to immediate supervisor.
+ Notifies supervisor of needed parts and machinery.
+ Other duties as assigned

+ High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required
+ Associate's degree with an emphasis in Electrical/Mechanical skills preferred
+ 2-3 years work experience

About the Role
The Ready Force Team Technician plays a key role in gas, water, and electric meter installation/exchange, maintenance and reading, surveying gas lines, as well as customer communication. This role may also participate in atmospheric corrosion, leak surveying, or line locating. This position requires a significant amount of walking in outdoor environmental conditions, excellent time management, and flexibility. Traveling throughout the United States up to 100% of the time while supporting various projects is required.
What You'll Do
Meter Maintenance:
Perform visual inspections of water or electric meters for leaks or damage
Identify hazards at meter sites and report accordingly
Properly change out water or electric meters of varying sizes and brands
Properly change out meter registers for AMI/AMR upgrade
Meter Reading:
Read electric, gas, or water meters
Enter data collected in the field into a handheld computer
Surveying Meters and Gas Lines:
Detect location of underground utilities and mark accordingly
Inspect gas meters and associated piping for proper coatings and evidence of atmospheric corrosion
Perform visual inspections of gas meters, lines, and fittings
Grade gas leaks by severity and report escalations accordingly
Identify hazards at meter sites and report accordingly
Clean and re-coat/paint meters and piping
Customer & Team Communication:
Refer all consumer complaints to the appropriate authorities
Provide general information about the meter services to customers, when applicable
Use telephones, tablets, and/or computers to communicate
Participate in company-provided safety meetings
Key Responsibilities:
Proficient in at least one to two core services such as:
Meter reading (gas, water, or electric)
Small meter installation/exchange.
Basic gas line surveying or detection.
Performs under close supervision.
About You
Must haves:
Education: None. Must be at least 18 years of age
Experience: Must possess a valid driver's license. Upon hire, the candidate may need to complete and pass all Pipeline Operator Qualification (OQ) training. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in any of these fields:
Electric, gas, or water meter maintenance, installation, or reading
Gas line detection/surveying
1+ year in related field (electric, gas, water meter maintenance/installation/reading, or gas line detection/surveying).
Nice to haves:
