Bijan Sanii has more than 20 years history as a technology industry executive. Before joining INETCO, Bijan was Executive Chair at UB Video, which developed one of the key enabling technologies for video over IP. He provided leadership and guidance that culminated in the acquisition of the company by Scientific-Atlanta (now a Cisco company). Prior to UB Video, Bijan joined Infowave Software in 1997. As General Manager of the Imaging Division, he successfully led a restructuring of the business and generated a record operating profit in 1998. He was later appointed Infowave’s Chief Operating Officer and CEO, driving Infowave’s IPO and strategic partnership agreements with Intel Corp, Compaq Computer Corporation, and other technology industry leaders. Bijan was born in London, U.K. and graduated with honors from the Polytechnic of Central London (now University of Westminster) with a B.A. in Economics. He currently sits on the board of Disternet, a digital media entertainment company based in Richmond, British Columbia. Bijan is also a charter member of the TiE Indus Entrepreneurs, and an active partner within BC Social Venture Partners.
