We are currently recruiting a Secretary to work at our Day program in Toms River, NJ. The Secretary will serve as the center's first contact point and information manager. My duties include developing and maintaining information databases, managing phones, and arranging and scheduling meetings. The responsibilities include composing, typing, and distributing directives, memos, bulletins, agendas, and other clerical duties. We will conduct a competency test using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to help us identify the best candidate for the position.

Essential Functions:
* Listening to students' concerns or issues and communicating them to leadership or administration.
* Preparing for and participating in students' first week on campus, including creating activities to engage students, checking them into the dorms, and conducting an orientation for the residence halls.
* Helping students stay informed about on-campus activities and clubs to encourage student engagement.
* Addressing students' concerns with other residents and being a moderator to solve problems.
* Staying current with college and dorm guidelines to ensure students always follow them.
* Hold regular meetings with the students they oversee and plan fun, engaging activities to help them connect.

* Refrain from all alcoholic beverages and vaping while on campus during the Summer Academic Enrichment Program.

Prerequisite Qualifications:
* Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, leadership experience (on or off campus), and good personal standing in the NJIT community.
* Must be flexible and willing to accept and provide constructive feedback.
* Willingness to learn and understand EOP's mission and goals for the summer program.
* At the university's discretion, the education and experience prerequisites may be exempted where the candidate can demonstrate to the satisfaction of the university, an equivalent combination of education and experience specifically preparing the candidate for success in the position.
Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the hourly rate for this position is $15.49 (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.

We are looking for ambitious students who are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution and meet the following criteria:
To be eligible for an Internship, you should be an actively enrolled student who will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship.
You must have a minimum Cumulative GPA (CGPA) of 3.20
Candidates for regular U.S. positions must be a U.S. citizen or national, an alien admitted as permanent resident, refugee, asylee, temporary resident, or an individual who possesses valid work authorization. **Your Unique Blend: What We're Looking For**
The ideal candidate for our PhD Leadership Development Program at BASF is a current PhD student studying Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biosciences, Material Science, Polymer Science, or a related field with a graduation date between December 2026 and July 2027.
+ Candidates must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. without restrictions and be willing to relocate anywhere in the country during and after the program, as all assignments are in-person or hybrid.
+ Candidates should demonstrate previous leadership experience and academic achievement, along with active participation in extracurricular activities and on-campus organizations.
+ Previous internship/co-op experience is preferred.
+ Familiarity with tools such as PowerBI, SAP, Tableau, and advanced Excel proficiency is a plus, along with a strong interest in the manufacturing or chemical industry. Project management experience is also beneficial.
Interns will be assessed for a potential returning internship offer or full-time position in our 2-year rotational program. Mobility is crucial, with potential locations including New Jersey, Michigan, North Carolina, Texas, and Louisiana.
