About Us: The Joe Zerilla Scholarship Fund began in May, 1992 to honor the legacy of Joe Zerilla; an Ambridge native, who tirelessly worked for the betterment of youth throughout his life, Over $94,000 raised since 1992.
The Homelessness Prevention/ Rapid Rehousing Program (HPRP) began with a team of five in 2009.
Since opening in February, 2016 the ministry has provided: meals, emergency food, clothing, hygiene/household items, and week-end food bags for up to 200 elementary students per week.
With a comprehensive network of local continuum of care partners and solid funding from government contracts, The Cornerstone of Beaver County, Inc. (TCBC) received its 501c3 nonprofit designation in July 2016.
In 2017 BCET donated nearly $70,000 to support education in Beaver County by providing $26,000 for the Growing with Books program, $10,525 for the Story Walk program, $11,00 for the Steam Walk program and $21,000 for the Mini Grant Program.
2019 marks the library's 90 anniversary.
