These services include general cleaning, carpet cleaning, hard floor care, window cleaning, dust removal and rental mat service. We tailor our services to meet the individual needs of our clients. Our clients include medical offices, banks, industrial offices, shop areas, real estate offices, schools, veterinary clinics, counseling centers, and manufacturing plants just to name a few. We cover a territory from Albany NY up to the Canadian border. Job Skills / Requirements Pay Rate $18.00 per hour Position summary: Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include notifying management of need for repairs. Tasks: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them as per each individual account specification and supervisor's instruction. Gather and empty trash. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Skills: Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Speaking - Talking to others to convey information effectively. Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others. Attributes: Trunk Strength - The ability to use your abdominal and lower back muscles to support part of the body repeatedly or continuously over time without 'giving out' or fatiguing. Manual Dexterity - The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Static Strength - The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects. Oral Comprehension - The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Extent Flexibility - The ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with your body, arms, and/or legs. Near Vision - The ability to see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer). Experience and Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred but not required. Valid clean driver's license may be required for some positions. Must have a neat & clean appearance - company uniforms required. No shorts will be worn. This is a Part-Time position 2nd Shift.

Job Duties * Clean the entire residence, including personal living quarters, on a designated schedule and in consideration of the event schedule, including but not limited to dusting, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, disinfecting, buffing. waxing, washing, ironing event linens, spot cleaning and trash removal * Cleaning duties include both interior and exterior spaces * Launder household items including washing, drying, ironing, folding and putting away, and changing bed and bath linens as scheduled or needed * Develop and maintain inventory of needed household and cleaning supplies * Monitor equipment and fixtures at the residence (e.g., lighting, kitchen equipment, cleaning equipment, etc.) to ensure proper working order, and make recommendations or arrange for updating or repair as needed * Personal assistance to the President and President's household as needed * Collaboration with other College departments and external vendors to ensure that the residence is properly and efficiently cleaned and maintained * Occasional evening and weekend work * Other duties as assigned or requested * Must have a minimum of three years of professional cleaning experience with excellent professional references * Excellent working knowledge of cleaning solutions and methods, as well as cleaning appliances and their operations * Demonstrated initiative and professionalism are a must * Position requires a high level of confidentiality, discretion and excellent judgement * Candidate must be both hard working and flexible by nature * A positive demeanor and good verbal communication skills are required Physical Requirements * The ability to stand or extended periods of time * The ability to climb, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously * The physical ability to occasionally climb on a ladder to heights in excess of three feet * The physical ability to frequently crouch, push/pull, squat and work above the shoulders during the performance of the daily job routine * The physical ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds of weight both on flat surfaces and up and down stairs Please submit a cover letter, resume and the contact information for three references on Interfolio. Performs related duties and general maintenance work as required. Job Summary: Checks and secures building at beginning and end of shift for the purpose of ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the building. Cleans rooms, hallways, cafeterias, restrooms, offices, stairways, and other areas of building according to school district standards. Sweeps, mops, buffs, strips, and waxes floors. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and blinds. Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors, and sills. Removes graffiti, cleans glass areas. Replaces light bulbs.
