Qualifications About the Role: The Day Reporting Center (DRC) is a dynamic, mission-driven program dedicated to supporting youth who are navigating complex school, family, and social challenges. Many of the young people served by the DRC have experienced anxiety, trauma, substance use concerns, mental health challenges, or barriers to traditional school engagement. This program provides a structured, supportive alternative to detention focusing on safety, accountability, skill-building, and long-term success. Serving youth referred to by courts, school-districts, social services, and community partners, the DRC offers an environment where young people are met with compassion, consistency, and high expectations. Youth may be enrolled in school, transitioning back to school, or temporarily disconnect from traditional educational settings, the program is designed to meet them where they are while helping them re-engage in healthy routines and goals. As part of the DRC team, you'll work directly with you who benefit from predictable structure, encouragement, and trauma-informed care. The program integrates educational support with therapeutic services, allowing staff to make a meaningful impact through ongoing assessment, crisis intervention, and individual, family, and group therapy. Team members collaborate with youth and families to develop strength-based service plans, monitor progress, and support the development of coping skills, emotional regulation, and positive life choices. This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus. What You Will Do: Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines. Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines. Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educate clients to make information choices; develop client coping skills; help clients to solve problems and negotiate tasks of daily living. Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards; confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing. Learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within assigned program to ensure effective interventions with clints. You're a Great Fit If You: Have a Masters Degree in a Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or other relevant clinical degree from an accredited college of university. Have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record. Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.
