Action Inc. is founded in 1965 as part of this movement.
Honolulu Community Action Program, Inc. (HCAP) is a non-profit human service agency that has been serving the island of Oahu since 1965.
Action Inc. begins operating Gloucester’s public transportation system and continues until Cape Ann Transportation Authority forms in 1978.
In the 1990’s NSCAP also began providing family shelter and job training.
In 2016 NSCAP served over 11,000 individuals in its primary service area of Peabody, Salem, Beverly and Danvers, plus several other area towns.
