DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Clean and disinfects restrooms, dormitories and common areas daily Maintain all floors by stripping, polishing and waxing periodically. Clean all carpets in the facility Painting and repairing around the facility Report needed repairs to supervisor Distribute housekeeping supplies and proper dilutions of supplies. Supervise the proper disposal of garbage QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum of one (1) year experience in general maintenance and/or housekeeping. * G.E.D or High School Diploma or equivalent experience. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of computer, Outlook, MS Word, Excel preferred, and paper work as needed. Excellent conflict resolution skills. Excellent customer service skills. Experience working with vulnerable populations. Ability to be professional, flexible, respectful, and calm. Ability to work well with others. Ability to lead by example. Must have a Florida State Driver's License with "safe driver" classification. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Computer Literate. Bilingual in English and Spanish and/or English and Creole preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Frequently required to stand. Frequently required to walk. Frequently required to sit.
