Purpose Performs a wide range of basic landscaping, maintenance and resources management activities in along the Olentangy Greenway Trail as part of the Olentangy Reemployment Plan. The Olentangy Reemployment Plan is an 8 week program in partnership with the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department. Example of Duties Performs a variety of landscaping, maintenance and resource management duties including, but not limited to mowing, invasive species removal, trail maintenance, fertilizing, trimming, mulching, etc. Picks up litter and empties trash receptacles. Performs basic trail maintenance including clearing paths, trimming, and pruning using pruners, shovels, rakes, hand saws, hand axes, etc. Operates basic construction equipment including but not limited to power tools, line trimmers, mowers, chain saws, skid steers, etc. Plant, fertilize, prune, water and transplant trees.
