Responsible for working at an OhioHealth care site to provide services that include helping patients make menu selections, assemble, deliver and pick-up their meal trays. The Patient Care Associate is responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of persons served/clients as they go through the rehabilitation process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answers patient calls and determines how to best assist them.
Provides physical support for patients or residents with daily activities such as: turning or moving patients for

Responsible for patient satisfaction to include completing patient meal orders, assembling, distributing and retrieval of meal trays in a timely manner. Maintains clear and accurate communications at all times with dietitians, nursing and all OhioHealth associates.

Professionally interacts with patients, visitors and associates to meet or exceed preset service standards.

Cleaning and stocking work stations, pods, kitchen areas as assigned.

Using the computer software systems in department/hospital, enter preferences, print reports, labels for nourishments, and diet order change sheets.

Responsibilities:
* The Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process in providing nursingcare to patients in all settings in collaboration with other health care providers.

Requirements:
* Graduate from a RN First Assist accredited program
* Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse

* Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
* A nurse who is returning to the acute care setting after five or more years may be required to provide evidence of successful completion of a refresher course.
* BLS certification
* ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
