    Centerpoint Health is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) seeking an OB/GYN Medical Assistant or LPN for our community health center. We have locations in Franklin and Middletown, OH. We provide services in primary health care, ob-gyn, and behavioral health. Centerpoint Health has an opening for a full time Medical Assistant, LPN or RN with OB/GYN experience as well as Family Practice experience to join our highly regarded and growing practice. We offer integrated services where providers work collaboratively to offer a full range of health care options. The applicant should be energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate. This candidate should embody exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism and adaptability with a strong desire to work as part of a team. Duties: "Room" patients, determine reason for visit, taking medical histories, recording vital signs or preparing patients for exams, document review of systems. Clinical tasks may include collecting and preparing lab specimens, performing basic lab tests and sterilizing medical equipment. Assist providers with procedures and draw blood. Clean, prepare and break down exam rooms, pre and post treatment Answer and return patient calls. Complete other front and back-office functions as needed. Process prescription refills, conduct prior authorizations and pre-certifications. Collect, enter and track patient data within the electronic record, and other databases, without errors. Assist with referrals to other services, including secondary care, hospital, ER, and other services. Registration and scheduling activities. Ensure compliance with patient confidentiality standards, as well as all other regulatory requirements. Perform other functions as assigned. Certifications/Credentials: Current unrestricted LPN license, or a Medical Assistant diploma. Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure 1 Experience: Minimum of 1 years of clinical experience with OB/GYN and family practice. Additional Skills/Qualifications: Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to understand and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards and assist leadership in ensuring continuous compliance. Strong organizational and time management skills Knowledge or experience within a community health setting is preferred. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office. Knowledge of Electronic Health Records preferred. Ability to spend significant time standing.
