Ability to read plans and specifications Ability to use Bluebeam, Procore and other relevant tools Excellent verbal and written communications Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships in a highly engaging manner with client representatives and contractor personnel. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities: Inspect and review projects during construction to monitor conformance with plans, specifications, and other codes and regulations during construction. Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field construction Inspecting construction work, tracking daily quantities, drafting daily quality reports, and monitoring field tests. Must be proficient with performing periodic audits of the contractor's quality control personnel and procedures. This role will require monitoring and documenting quality control measures. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package. Essential Duties: Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting a visual and measurement test, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Verify in-process production by confirming required specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating the required adjustments to the Treating Operator and Supervisor. Sample all finished products by confirming specifications and conducting required tests on Lumber. Identify and segregate products for re-work and complete documentation to confirm re-work. Document and update inspection results by completing reports and logs. Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calling for repairs. Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures and complying with company policies. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Learn the Treating Process and assist operator in daily operations tasks.
