Required Education: High School Diploma or GED required or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction or equivalent preferred. Not required, but preferred Certifications: ACI, ICC, ACT, NICET or relevant Certification Required Qualifications Candidates must possess the following skills and abilities, which must be verifiable via reference: Five (5) years of experience in Landside, Vertical, and Facilities construction inspection. Ability to read plans and specifications Ability to use Bluebeam, Procore and other relevant tools Excellent verbal and written communications Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships in a highly engaging manner with client representatives and contractor personnel. Proven ability to work under tight deadlines. Responsibilities: Inspect and review projects during construction to monitor conformance with plans, specifications, and other codes and regulations during construction. Responsible for performing highly complex technical assignments in field construction Inspecting construction work, tracking daily quantities, drafting daily quality reports, and monitoring field tests. Must be proficient with performing periodic audits of the contractor's quality control personnel and procedures. Must interact with the contractor's quality control team to obtain project documentation. Salary: $40.00 / Hour References: Three (3) references must be available upon request.

Qualifications Applicants should have three to five years working in a quality role with a focus on structural steel, and should be well versed in AISC 360 standards. CWI certification or the ability to obtain one within 1 year is required. Non-Destructive testing experience in Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing in an ASNT-TC-1a level II capacity preferred. The position will be based out of our MD office. Applicants must be willing/able to travel to visit job sites from Philadelphia to Richmond as well as company and outsourced fabrication facilities. Responsibilities: * Determine specifications and validate manufactured products and identify quality concerns * Thorough understanding of Work Order tickets & the ability to read and interpret Shop drawings and templates * Identify cause of errors, problems and/or defects * Assist in recommending and developing solutions to address quality concerns and to enhance quality/productivity * Discuss validation results with those responsible for products and recommend corrective actions Qualifications: * 3+ years production line experience in a manufacturing environment; experience as a millwork assembler or master carpenter is a plus. * Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-worker * The ability to see details at close range and match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness. * Must be able to read tape measure Specialty Building Products is the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America.
