About the role We are looking for a Quality Assurance Field Inspector to join our team based in our Glen Burnie, MD office that will be responsible for traveling to job sites in the MD, DC, VA areas. The person who fills this role will be responsible to ensure that the quality of work performed by employees and sub-let erectors and fabricators meets or exceeds organization standards. What you'll do This role is responsible to: · Provide surveillance for projects in progress following appropriate QA/QC standards. · Assist in identifying, troubleshooting, documenting and communicating errors or problems. · Assist and/or provide solutions to our team for identified errors or problems. · Provide surveillance for sub-let fabricators and sub-let erectors. Qualifications Applicants should have three to five years working in a quality role with a focus on structural steel, and should be well versed in AISC 360 standards. CWI certification or the ability to obtain one within 1 year is required. Non-Destructive testing experience in Ultrasonic and Magnetic Particle Testing in an ASNT-TC-1a level II capacity preferred. We have an exceptional opportunity for a full-time Quality Control Technician to support our crews in the greater Jessup area. This role is paying $27/hr - $32/hr, plus premier benefits! The Quality Control Technician monitors and evaluates the workmanship on multiple projects. They will spot check projects during installations and ensure that the crews are following the installation specification set forth by the management and perform all final quality control checks of every project once they are completed.
